Be super careful with any turkey products right now. I just finished reading an article on CNN about widespread salmonella contamination in the turkey industry right now. Use a meat thermometer, sanitize all counters, run your cutting boards and knives through extra hot in the dishwasher. If you have young children, elderly family members, or anyone with diabetes or immune issues in the family my personal suggestion would be to wait on the turkey until the CDC has a better grasp on the situation.
