I have a store near me that sells all close to expired bread, such as these, Debbies cakes, hot dog bread, regular loaves for extremely cheap. I like to buy them when I have a cookout because I know the bread will be used that same day and won’t go to waste
Baton Rouge has a store like that too. It is owned and/or run by Flowers Foods. Flowers Foods makes Wonder Bread, Nature’s Own, Whitewheat, Sunbeam, Mrs. Freshley’s, Blue Bird, Mi Casa, Cobblestone Mill, Tastykake, and Dave’s Killer Bread. My store also carries a few products from other brands.
The store charges $0.99 for every bread item except Dave’s Killer Bread. They have individual Mrs. Freshley’s and Tastykake products 3/$1, Tastykake bagged mini donuts for $0.99, and sometimes 6ct trays of Tastykake pecan rolls for $0.49 or $0.59. They also have 20oz bottles of pop for $1.49. It is the cheapest place in town for Diet Dr Pepper. Walmart charges $1.78 if you can find it.
Love Dave’s Killer Bread. You can get it on sale occasionally at Kroger and they also carry it at Costco for a discounted price. Hands down the best commercially made bread you can buy!

Sweet story…Growing up, we went camping as a family. We couldn’t afford to go out much, but my Mama used to “pretend” that Entenmann’s was her “family” company and she would make a new batch early in the mornings on our camping trips and package them up in the “family business box”…we loved eating them!!

Mine rarely has any of the deals you post, but I stopped in today and they had Annie’s organic tomato and pasta soup cartons and also 4 packs of .75oz cheddar bunnies! They didn’t have the sweets you posted about, but that’s probably good thing. Haha
