These are amazing. I purchased one when my daughter was a picky kindergartener. She’s in 4th grade and still uses it. I have saved $100s in containers and ziplocks over 5 years I put it in the dishwasher a few times a week and it still looks brand new!
We have one of these and I absolutely love it. Easy to pack, easy to clean, durable and environmentally friendly. A bit heavy for a kindergartner to carry, but doable and definitely worth it.
We have had ours for four years- dropping backpacks, play dates at park, right in the dishwasher, they don’t hold odor or stains. I just bought one for our fifth baby. Well worth every cent- and I’m super cheap. There is a compartment on the bag where you put an ice pack.
Shipping is free on orders $100 or more; otherwise, shipping will be determined based on items ordered and where it’s being shipped.
We have had the Rover for 5 years and it has taken some major abuse. I pack lunch EVERY day for my son. The older bag has gotten beat up so I ordered a new bag, but the box itself is still pristine. Does anyone know how well the new containers with the silicone lids work? The older ones don’t work much for us except thick stuff like hummus.
Can it fit in a regular lunch box?
I’ve had one for a year now and it still looks new! My daughter took it to kindergarten every day, and it’s held up great. It’s super easy to clean. A bit heavy for a kid, but she got used to it, and it’s worth it since it’s so environmentally friendly. This is a great sale, I’ll get another one for my son.
We have a Yumbox for my picky 1st grader and HE LOVES it!!!
They have so many fun lunch ideas these days…we love doing lunches together now
I also love that he is learning about foods and helping prep them…..maybe he will be a Chef when he grows up lol
Have and love the rover. My kids didn’t find it too heavy at all. They used them in preschool. Unfortunately my kids want different lunch boxes this year. I loved these though! Super easy to pack lunches too with the compartments.
We also love the ice packs! I know it sounds strange! Water bottles are great too.
dot these come with any lids? I see in the one picture a little round container holding dip. Wouldn’t this spill and things mix when carrying if not carried flat the whole time.
I have the older model bag and containers, and yes the containers do leak if you put something really runny in them.

This is why I prefer the yumbox or Bentogo. You can put yogurt directly into the compartments and it seals, no leaks. If you follow yumbox on instagram they announce coupon codes. They’re also a little cheaper to begin with.
Yes, they come with silicone lids. I’ve put yogurt and pudding in these with no problem. I also drain mandarin oranges before packing and haven’t had issues with leaking. I bought the rover last year when my daughter started kindergarten. I packed her lunch every day and it still looks new. It makes packing lunch so easy and I love that she can sit down at the table and immediately start eating while many other kids have to raise their hands for help with opening baggies and containers. She also has food allergies and I didn’t want her lunch items touched by helpers who may have touched other foods. Highly recommend!
Geez, I picked up 2 of the Rover boxes at a garage sale for $1 each. I didn’t realize what a deal that was until now 🤑
That’s awesome! I saw one at the thrift store a while back, but another lady got to it before i did.
How long have you had them, Kathryn? Are your boxes in good shape? Would you be interested in selling them?
