I believe he second entree does not include soup/salad or breadsticks.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That is correct! Thanks for the reminder, Gina! You can share the soup Or salad and breadsticks from the first entree. 🙂

      • Tish

We got the buy one take one over the weekend and got breadsticks with our take home order also.

    • Nana

You can ask for extra bread sticks in comments or when you pick up for free.

  2. Ferida

    I ordered for a family of 4 and used code 5OFFTG online. Takes $5 off $30 😊

    • MegannT

      Thanks!

    • DianaC

I did that last time we got this deal. Everything went fine and my receipt shows the discount. When I went to check my credit card bill few days later, my card was being charged a separate transaction of the $5 from Olive Garden😔

      • Tiffany

        Same thing happened to me

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

SWEET! Thanks for the code! It has been added to the post!

  3. Lana

We did this last week and never again. Not enough sauce to even begin to coat the pasta and the salad was old wilted yellow lettuce with brown edges. No more Olive Garden for us.

    • SmartShopper

My Olive Garden is fantastic! But, one time I did not get all my food. I called. It was taken care of via a free gift card. Next time you get wilted salad or small amount of sauce, take a pic with your phone and call the store. Speak to the manager. Via e-mail, send him/her the pics of your food. Let them know you’d like a gift card for your purchase price. They will do it. Just ask them to leave it in an envelope by the Take Out Counter. Next time you drive by Olive Garden, stop by and pick it up.

      • Lana

They sent me a survey in which I gave them a bad review and put my contact info to be contacted and they never did. This Olive Garden is terrible. The one time I did speak to the manager he yelled at me on the phone. I make way better food than they do so we will just stick with that. My Italian salad is 10x better and my pasta has better sauce and enough of it.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! SO sorry to hear about your experience. Thanks for the honest comment!

  4. ana

You know, we did this a couple of weeks ago and I thought they seemed a little stingy with the sauce as well. Last year we did it though and it was much better so I don’t know, maybe they were told to cut back? Either way it’s so hot here that I might do it and just put in the special instructions section that we need more sauce 😀

  5. Christine

    No cooking for me tonite!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I was thinking the same thing! Enjoy!!

  6. Just passing through

My sister asked them to heat up the frozen meals and they did.

  7. Gisette

How many breadsticks do you get?

    • ana

In the special instructions just ask for 2 extra breadsticks and they’ll do it 🙂

  8. Mamamia

I always write, in the note section, that “my kids are obsessed with their breadsticks, and they would be thrilled to have a few extra. ”
They never hold back and always place a lot of extra bread this way.

  9. Alicia Tosh

Sadly at our Olive Garden in Tuscaloosa the entree Lasagna Classico was $15.99 each and then a $3.00 upcharge for the buy one take one home meal.

That made 2 meals $38 plus tax and tip. Still a good option just not as good.

I would encourage others to consider how much plastic waste this is creating, especially the online order.

    • Tracy

I understand what you are trying to say but i feel a lot of people who talk about the environment don’t understand that those plastic tubs are being made anyway. Even if you dont ask for them it is already made or there and someone else is going to be using it and maybe disposing of it improperly. Just do what you want and dont use them or recycle.

      • Heather

Please look up the concept of “supply and demand”. Decrease in demand = decrease in supply. If enough people find alternatives to using plastic, production would eventually decrease.

      • Pam

But if nobody uses them, then they just sit there. And they will not reordered. That is when the environment gets “saved”.

  11. Kaleeshab

Just picked up Togo! I made sure to ask for extra sauce. Thanks guys!!!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome!

  12. Sandra Grund Pallotto

  13. KM

Saw at the grocery (Publix) a coupon on the OG croutons bags for $5 off 2 dinners at OG- but I didn’t look at the date or details. Reg price for bag was $1.99.

  14. H

Thanks for the post. Dinner was yummy tonight. Last time we bought this the free entree was cold. This time everything was warm and ready to eat. Even an entree extra for hubbys lunch the next day. Next time I’ll know to ask for extra breadsticks! 🙂

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Great! You’re so welcome!

  15. Daniela

This is a fantastic deal, plus you get cute black plastic containers that you can use for lunch salads. We asked for extra salad and breadsticks last time. We fed 4 people comfortably for $12.99. Doing this again tomorrow!

  16. Rn

This is such a good deal, when you order to go the salad is huge, can easily feed 2-3 folks from one salad 🙂

  17. Toma

The deal wasn’t available at the Olive Garden in my city. Bummer…

    • Hi

Are you sure it’s not available? At first I thought mine wasn’t participating, but then I clicked on “Soecials” and found the buy one get one there.

      • Hi

        . . . sorry, typo … should be “Specials”

  18. Debbie

How do you enter the coupon? There is no option at checkout

    • LS

Hi Debbie – the coupon option is on the very last screen.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Debbie! You can enter the coupon code near the end of the checkout process, just before your order subtotal. Hope that helps!

  19. Linda

Thank you, HIP2SAVE!!! Just picked up dinners for several nights! Ordered two Four Cheese Ziti … Ordered two Spaghetti With Meat Sauce … I added meatballs ($2.49 for 2, and I ordered 4) to get to the $30 minimum for the $5 off … grand total including BOGO entrees, meatballs, salad, and breadsticks was $28.21! I requested extra sauce and two extra breadsticks, and they did so without batting an eye! Soooooo cool! These 4 entrees are large enough that we will easily get 8 servings out of them! That will come in handy on evenings when I have to work late and don’t have the energy to cook. Merci beaucoup!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Woohoo! That’s awesome to hear! You’re SO very welcome! Enjoy!!

  20. kpabros

Tracy I agree with you that re-use is best. However using “they’ll make them anyway” is not a great argument for choosing not to be environmental conscious. If people decide they don’t need or want something, they won’t make it. Supply and demand. Not arguing with you, but asking you to challenge your assumptions.

    • Heather

      🙌

  21. Ann M Stokman

    Love it.
