As a Hispanic librarian fan of the book series,and the television I found it wrong that groups are trying to ban the series on grounds that it’s not P.C.. It is a true story showing the strength of character women had to build this country with many limits placed on them and how people viewed these around them. People have to remember that this is history and use it as a teaching tool. Teach your child P.C. Don’t let others decide for you. If this series is banned many schools may no longer use it or recommend it to children.
