Red Robin does not always honor the free birthday burger even for the royalty members. I went few weeks ago to my nearest Red Robin to redeem my birthday burger (drove 2 hrs round trip to the nearest Red Robin) and was told by the server I could not use my free birthday coupon I had to use the buy one get one 1/2 off. My husband had the fish dinner and I tried to have just a regular burger. He said I needed to text to Red Robin to use a birthday coupon and than they would send me a text and I could use the text code later….like to go, maybe. I was VERY sad as we drove a long ways to use the coupon he said the only coupon under my account when he looked at it was the buy one get one 50% off. I do not think I will be going to Red Robin again. I told him I had an email saying I could use it and it was already on my account and he said no I needed a text code. My birthday is in July and I tried to use it July 29th and for 100% I had not redeemed it as it had been months since we had visited a Red Robin. 🙁 🙁 🙁 I hate when businesses say one thing to get you in and than do not honor it….Husband got 3 parties, kids nice ones and mom…ZERO. So not at all happy about Red Robin.

Just got my free burger yesterday and was able to order online and get it to go. I was even able to add and customize my burger and get additional fries. Really happy with my experience with them this time. That was all for free. YAY!
