The weekender is SOLD OUT. I was able to get one yesterday and went again today to get another one but it’s sold out now. Got the grand traveler instead since it has the same pattern so it will match the sold out weekender that I got yesterday. Have spent so much $$$ between yesterday and today with Vera Bradley 😬 BUT scored some amazing deals! Love these bags so much mainly because I can fold them and store them under my bed. My two girls (9 and 12) love them also so we share them all the time. Great for the girls when they go to a friends house for sleepovers. Yes I have both. I like the weekender more because its smaller and easier to carry. If you are flying it counts as a carry on. It’s basically the same as the grand but smaller. Also I think the weekender has an outside zipper pocket and the grand has that plus another pocket on top of the zipper one with a magnetic flap. If you are going for longer than a weekend or you tend to over pack the grand might work. Now if you are thinking of flying and want to take it with you in cabin then the weekender might be best. And even though the weekender is smaller it is very deceiving because you can really pack a lot in it. I tend to also over pack and I can pack a weeks worth of clothes in it without counting my shoes. And the best thing is that once you get to your destination you un pack and fold them into a drawer. At home you can do the same thing and place them under your bed. They take no space once they are empty and if they get dirty throw them into the wash. Now remember to take the bottom cardboard out before washing 😉
