any idea where to find the 5 off 30 coupon? i cant seem to find it anywhere 🙁
On the Dollar General App it’s with all other digital coupons that you can clip. I just clipped mine. 🙂
I clipped a 5 off 25 when they can out but I don’t see a 5 off 30
Hi there! Be sure to login to your account and refine your coupon search to the “household” category. I found it to pop up for me that way. Hope this helps!
I don’t have it either
If you wait till Saturday, can you use the $5 of $25 as well???
yes your total needs to be 35+ and give them the paper 5 off 25 first. Then use your digital coupons
This has gotten mixed answers before when asked. Some day yes some say no. If you’re planning on doing the deal and are ok spending $12 it’s worth a shot!
Yes I’ve done it several times in the past. Just got to make sure you use the $5 off paper first and then put ur phone number in. If not it won’t work right
I can’t find the Gain dryer sheets coupon? Anyone else have this problem?
Hi there! We are still finding it available. Have you by chance used this coupon recently? If so, that may be why it is not popping up for you. Hope that helps!
I couldn’t find the larger count flings. Mine only had 26 for large bags but the $3 coupon still came off for it.
There is no $5 off $25 this Saturday.
i couldn’t find all the stuff listed dang
Oh bummer! Were you not able to find the coupons above? Or were the items listed not in stock in your store?
most of the stuff were not in stock at my DG. I tried another one today and not all the item was in stock either…guess theres so many people doing this deal in my area lol
Make sure you read your register receipt. On mine underneath where it thanks me for my P&G purchase, it says $5 off my next $5.01 or more (pretax) purchase. With an expiration date of 9/29/18
It seems like I have a hard time getting my $5 off $25 usually. With the way they do the receipts it never says -$5 coupon or it just never works for me?
My receipts show cents off per item bought. So say you bought 25 $1 items, below each item will be -.20
I’m confused, do you actually have to clip them? Mine only gives me the option to add to a list
Yes! Adding them to your list is “clipping” them. Hope that helps!
if using the 5 off of 30 it says you can’t use other gain digital coupons with it.
Hmm, Here are the details I find listed for that offer –
“$30 or more (pre-tax) of all Gain items calculated after all other Dollar General discounts. This coupon cannot be combined with other Dollar General $2, $3, and $5 off store coupons. Limit one per customer. We reserve the right to limit use to normal retail purchases. No cash value.”
It should apply with the digital coupons listed above as they are manufacturer coupons. Hope that helps!
I bought the exact items listed and all the coupons worked perfectly except the $5 off $30 gain did not apply. Anyone else have an issue? I did get the $5 at the bottom of the receipt for buy $15 worth of P&G items
I tried this exact scenario but the larger Gain Flings coupon wouldn’t come off.
Yeah, this deal as presented doesn’t work. The $5 off $30 applies AFTER all the other manufactures coupons, which makes sense, and I was skeptical of. I tried it exactly as set up. Even after rung up, the cashier brought the manager out (yes, I’m THAT guy) and she confirmed I’d have to purchase more items to activate the $5 off $30. So no, this deal isn’t as good as it looks. You won’t be able to score all that stuff for $12. Save yourself the embarrassment (if you’re that type) or the disappointment.
No true. Works just fine
The Deal as presented worked like a charm for me. I added the Tide Pods to mine so before tax total was $14.20.
I wasn’t able to use the 5 off 30 with this exact scenario, either.
It most definitely works, I’ve done it at least three times over the past year. And the $5 off 30 always comes off. Maybe try a different store some know more than others
Didnt work for me…. Wouldnt take $5 off $30
I am surprised that it would take the $5 off 30 since when it takes off the other coupons the total will not be $30, but I intend to try it today!! Thanks Hip2Save!!
I did this this morning. it all worked including the tide pods and the prices were all correct but the didnt have the Mr clean in in the 24oz so I got a larger size for $2.75 and was still able to use the coupon. i only have one issue. i downloaded the buy $30 of gain get $5 off and it shows that i used it when I sign in but I do not show it anywhere on the receipt. I added it up and it all equals exactly $30. Do you think if I go back to the store they would be able to do anything?
Hi Denise! You could always call in to your store to be sure!
it comes off as percentages of each item not a flat $5 discount. it says store discount.
thanks Amber. I am still happy only spending 14.95 before tax on all of those things. They just should honor their own coupon.
Did you add the Tide Pods to your order? If you did your total sounds about right before taxes. The Gain deal prices for me varied a bit but was still under $13. Then add $1.95 for the Tide Pods. So my before tax was about the same as yours. 😊 My Gain coupon coupon came off as a store discount under some of my Gain items.
Why is this deal no longer available? The 5 off 30 doesn’t expire until 8/26. Sale ends 8/25. Just curious as I was planning on going today.
i went today. it still works but choose moonlight scent. i had trouble with the other tropical scents.
Does anyone know if digital coupons can be used for online orders at Dollar General?
