I love this pack. I use it for my one year old. I had a soft structure carrier for her when she weighed less. When she started wiggling more and being more curious about things as we hiked, that carrier became more of a burden. It also held my girl right against my body so we’d both sweat in the areas of contact. This distributes the weight well and it’s easier to get one than I thought. I can put my child in it and put it on by myself. It seats the her pretty high, but that allows her to see a lot of the scenery. The sun shade came in handy too. We put a hat on her, but she kept taking it off ten minutes into our hike.
My nine month old daughter LOVES this pack. She gets excited when she sees it, goes in happy, and takes great naps. Plus it’s very soft and secure. The fabrics in the child “cockpit” are all very soft and durable. There are toy hooks on both sides of the child cockpit which is a great feature, and the drool pad is removable and machine washable, not to mention plush. My daughter preferred this child cockpit to all the other packs, and for me that speaks volumes.
Excellent pack for hiking. I can fit diapers and wipes for my son with plenty more space for snacks and whatever else I could need! Easy to adjust for both the wearer and baby. Even in a bulky snowsuit my son comfortably fits in it.
The pack works great and it’s comfortable, My son weighs about 25lbs., and I can’t feel his weight. I have gone on a couple of hikes, and it’s very comfortable. It has a nice shade that pops out and keeps him cool. There is plenty of space for his snacks and water, and I can fit my own snacks and water in the pouch at the bottom of the pack as well. It has a kickstand for when you want to take of the pack and put your child down. Overall, I am very satisfied!
Best pack EVER! Highly recommend!!!!!!
