When we went to sandals they were hardcore about the lovey dovey couples stuff and force fed it to you constantly. Everyone there was a couple on a honeymoon or on an anniversary trip etc. I almost think I would be awkward to go there on a family trip because of how hard they are pushing the couples in love thing.
I have to say we weren’t that impressed with Sandals for all the money and the hype. We had a better time on the Mexican vacation we booked for cheap through living social than we did on our “splurge” sandals trip. Also, they almost always have 65% off deals plus credits going on so don’t feel like you need to rush out and book something “before the sale ends.”

Mind sharing details of your cheaper vacation thru living social?
We went to sandals for our honeymoon and I’ve never had a worse trip! We were offered drugs by several employees and when we turned them down they ignored us after that. They all wanted tips too, despite it being inclusive. They ran out of essentials like towels when we first got there. We joke about the terrible food and the scary bus ride there now. I really wish I had all that money back!!! I still have friends that rave about it, so maybe we just had the worst experience ever? My husband surprised me with a different company and much cheaper all inclusive for my birthday a few months later and it was amazing and wonderful in every way!!!! I felt so guilty then for spending all the money on two vacations in a row, but now we have four kids and go nowhere. Lol
Wow! I have only had good experiences at two different Sandals resorts. I have been to many all-inclusive resorts and Sandals is one of my favorites. I also love Iberostar resorts. Sorry you had a bad experience!
