It seems silly, but I highly suggest Halloween cards. I have a friend who has the time/resources/motivation to hand make cards for Halloween. She has two lists she rotates every year so I get a Halloween card from her every other year. It’s such a nice little surprise. I have a special “Halloween Garland” I hang her cards on now. For 50¢, I think I’ll send her one so she gets the same warm bubbly feeling knowing she’s thought of. 👍

I send Halloween and other holiday cards, not just xmas, to some family & friends every year. Sometimes from dollar tree, sometimes clearance, sometimes homemade. People really enjoy and appreciate it. Its a nice way to just say, “You’re thought of”. Greeting cards are sent so little these days that they mean a lot when they are sent. We loved all the free ones from Hallmark this year!

I send neices and nephew cards til they are 18. I also send friends and cards at birthdays & holidays. Writing cards or letters is non existent anymore. Just so sad in todays society of cellphones .

I used to buy the Hallmark cards from my store and I noticed afterwards they had such a terrible odor I quit going there.

Oh bummer! How odd. I just grabbed one yesterday and did not notice an odor. Thanks for the feedback, Sue!
