I also had both the men and women’s Degree Dry Spray rebates on Checkout 51 for $4.75 each. My Wal-Mart had both sprays priced at $4.78. I picked up one of each spray on all 5 rebates for $26.19 total. Got back $26.05. I’m thrilled!

This program can be a hassle. I painstakingly stayed abreast of the “limit reached” warnings and scanned everything before I even left the store. Seems that while I was sending my receipt they reached limit on a couple of my claims. Arrgh! Guess I’ll return what I didn’t get the rebate for and try again next week.
Pam, that has happened to me several times. I have gotten to where I rarely use this app if it is a really hot deal, because I can’t seem to even get to my vehicle to submit the rebate before it shows them all gone….even though I checked the app for availability right before I checked out. I did manage to get these deodorants, though.

Same. I actually added the dove dry spray deodorants to my Ibotta app last night. If I wouldn’t have seen your comment, I wouldn’t have thought to check and make sure that they were still there. Luckily I did check, before making a special trip to the store, because it had disappeared from my offers. I thought once you added an offer it was yours. Not so!
CO51 doesn’t work like that. All offers are open for everyone Thurs – Wed. You can star an item that you’re interested in (which just makes it easier to find when you submit your receipt), but it’s not a ‘save’. Once they meet the max # of redemtions, then the offer/s go to 0.
I knew Checkout 51 didn’t work like that – I was talking about Ibotta.

I know Checkout 51 runs out, often without warning so if it’s a popular item I’ll take a look before buying it but it’s no guarantee. I’ve also tried to scan/submit my receipt quickly but sometimes it doesn’t help.
As for Ibotta, I never knew they could run out and remove the offer even though you’ve added it to your offers. Usually there’s an expiration date but nothing about running out. Can someone shed some light on this. Thanks!
