Hi Ana! Be sure that you’re logged into your Prime account, as this deal is for Prime members only. Hope that helps!
Just ordered one for my daughter’s 8th bday last night-.this only $5 more than their Black Friday deal from last year. Perfect timing!
It is completely worth the $15 to have no ads, imo.
Just a differing opinion-I don’t mind the ads, which are only on the screen when you “wake” your kindle (and it’s one ad) -they just highlight a product-sometimes I find them interesting!
Huh. Maybe they changed it from a few years ago. It used to be more, I thought.
Any suggestions on how to check out, borrow, rent , books for children at no cost?
Most local libraries have access to a system like Overdrive. With their system you download the app, put in your library card information, and then you can check out/borrow audiobooks, digital books, maybe even movies.

The “special offers” means ads?!? I was trying to figure out what they meant by that. OK, totally agree, I will pay an extra $15 to not have ads popping up. I want to grab a small tablet for my toddler to have her cartoons while I’m at work with her. Right now, she uses my phone but then I have to keep taking it to use. (Also not crazy about handing her my phone! She’s started making calls. lol)
I really want to love the Amazon Tablet but I am unable to download YouTube so my son can watch his shows on there. If there is a way around it, I would jump on this deal but alas, I will have to buy a Samsung tablet.
Sassy_T, if you connect the tablet to your computer and run some simple code, you can download the Google Play store which has the YouTube app. I did this and it makes this tablet so much better.
To those worried about the ads: I bought mine with the ads at the discount price. There is an option in your amazon account where you can pay the $15 at any time to remove the ads. That way you can get a deal and then decide later if the ads bother you.
Thanks for letting us know, Colleen!
Thank you! Another gift bought!
