I have had this for about 5 years and this book has the best recipe for pancakes and chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! The baguettes are delicious!
This is our favorite cookbook and my 11-year-old makes recipes from this book by herself now. We have owned this cookbook for over 5 years. We love the French toast casserole, chocolate chip muffins, and many more.
My kiddos love this book! Some of the recipes have turned out not so great, but we’ve had luck with seafoam smoothies and Abu monkey bread. The kids like to page thru it and say ‘yuck’ or ‘yum’ depending on how the recipe looks. It’s a very solid, hardcover book.
I got this for my daughter for mother’s day. We had checked it out at the library and my daughter and granddaughter hated to give it back. They make things out of it all the time and love it, it’s my daughter’s favorite cookbook.

I agree with the commenters who ordered last time. This is a great Disney-lover cookbook for mini cooks. Great recipes and pictures!
While cute, I would not recommend. My daughters were very excited to use it to cook on their own. The problem is that most of the recipes are terrible! It has led to a lot of frustration and tears because they followed the recipe but the food tasted horrible. After 10 horrible recipe failures, they have finally agreed to donate the book to get rid of it.

Yeah, I think this part (having an opinion) is always going to be different for everyone. Likes and dislikes are always up to the individual, but I do think this book will be a “hit” with my granddaughters. Sorry Laura, this was not a hit with your crowd.

Do it myself kids cookbook
Great for all kids from about 4 to 10. Nonreaders can really do. No knives and no hot stoves. I gave it to a little boy in kindergarten and he loves it.
I would suggest you go to your local public library children’s section and browse in the j641 section. Ask if you don’t spot the section as labels can vary from library to library.
This is a very cute book. We borrowed it from the library once and made the “princess popcorn”, but called it Poppy-corn since it was bright pink and my kids love Trolls.
Got this last time and just gave it to my daughter last week for her birthday. Just ordered it again for my nieces birthday.
Anyone have example recipes from the book they can share here… my daughter has several allergies and I am not sure I’d be able to swap ingredients?!?
