Does anyone have a soda stream machine? I keep looking at the machine wondering if itโs worth getting? I have heard mixed reviews.
Yes I have one ..and it’s so worth it I have saved so much money ..Enjoy ๐
We have had a Soda Stream machine for years. My husband likes the carbonated water plain and drinks a lot of it. We buy the canned carbonated water for travel but at home he drinks the Soda Stream carbonated water right out of the Soda Stream bottles. We use the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons to buy the CO2 canisters (take your old one in for trade in) and now have 3 we rotate as we don’t live that close to BBB.
How does that exchange process work? Do you need to take the old one to customer service first? Or, do you just take the bottle to the register?
You have to take the empty to customer service and they keep the refill bottles back there. I use grocery pickup and order the refills as part of my order and turn in my empty bottles to them directly.
Same here-Iโve had my Sodastream for almost 10 years. Bought it at a trade show when they first came out. The reusable bottles have an expiration date (or used to) of 4 years, so this is a good deal for stock-up. The replacement canister situation is only really doable at BB&Beyond. With the $5 coupons and the trade-in of empty canisters, I pay 9.99 each. No other retailer even comes close. I attempted to price-match with Fred Meyer (Iโm in Oregon). It worked once-I kept my paperwork-the next time an overzealous CS person went ballistic over the very idea. I went back to BB&B. Since the $5 Qs are in shorter supply, I found that Recyclebank offers a mail-to-you Q for BB&B that works.
thank you for all the great reviews was also wondering if you use daily how quickly will you need to refill bottle?
mine last for a month and half..then I use my bed bath and beyond coupon to get a new one it comes out to $13 with tax ๐๐ค
Check the clearance bottles for expiration dates, I’ve seen some that expire only a couple of months away from when they’re selling them at Walmart. They aren’t safe for the pressure of carbonation after that date.
Kohl’s carries the canisters and you get a discount for turning in the used canister. You just go to the customer service desk.
Thanks for the helpful tips!! Good to know!
