Not to be a party pooper, but my middle daughter loves these things and other similar toys like PikMePops. She used $50 of her birthday money on these toys last week and ended up with a small pile of .25-.50 vending machine toys and a large pile of plastic/wrap/paper that is terrible for the environment. You got to hand it to these companies to make it so exciting for kids to open these things and end up with such a small item. (She couldn’t have been happier with the toys and the elaborate way of opening them.).
Thanks for listening but after what I saw what she ended up with after spending that money and Grandma laughing her head off at the 2 different size piles of toys/trash, I had to get this off my chest!

I totally agree. If it helps, I had to change my mindset to say I’m paying for the experience as much as the actual toy. My girls love these things too and I figure it will be a good memory for them.
