I got one last year for my kids for Christmas and they absolutely love it . Such a fun toy . Will get another one for gifts for nieces and nephews
so I dont have this particular one but like you I snatched up a dragon a couple years ago at an awesome deal (I think $8) and my kids love it! and I will just put in my 2 cents that these become hugely discounted because they release a new one every Christmas season, this year they have a dinosaur that is their big deal and so last years model needs to go! I’ve gotten deals on the barbie dream cove and monster high school, like 80-90% off for the same reason. because every year they make a slightly different version to make kids go OH! I need this one too! it makes for great deals for those of us who are totally ok with last years model and makes me seriously wonder how much of a mark-up these toys are at!
Agreed! I think this is exactly why they have dropped the price because it was last years hot item. I think they are trying to push the Dinosaur/Dragon and Dog one of these this year. I bought one a month or so ago when our store had them on clearance for $49. My daughter wanted it so badly for Christmas last year, but I was not willing to pay $129-$94 on it. She’ll be so excited to receive it this year.
I paid $100 for one of these last year for my daughter and she loves it! The fur is so soft and it makes tons of cute noises and movements.
For those who love their tigers and/or dragons, what age range are these children? My daughter claims to want Furreal Friends every year (she wanted the white tiger, too) but she never played with them even though she absolutely loves animals (and stuffed animals). We’ve had a variety–a couple dogs, a horse, a seal, a bunny, and probably others that I can’t remember that were underwhelming.
For your daughter it sounds like she truly likes simple. I would go with your gut. I bet she’d love those sparkle stuffed animal they posted here.

I think the price drop is because it was last Christmas’s hot item and they are making room for the new hot item for this season. The toy is perfectly fine.

My granddaughter had spotted the white tiger and they are so hard to find. So I figured she would be happy with Roarin’ Tyler. I bought one for both of 2 of my granddaughters. I’m sure they’ll be happy. I paid $40 each.

that’s kind of what we did with the dragon, daughter begged for it for Christmas, but $89?!?! no way, in February I drove to a walmart 20 miles away and got it for $8 and she got it for her birthday in may. totally worth the wait, she was so excited and I was so happy to not pay full price. I feel like $130 was crazy for this tiger but I can do $40 for a toy I know should be a hit with my 3 year old who covets her sisters dragon.

I went to walmart.com and when I put it in my cart it changed the price to 114.00, I chatted with them and told them my issue, they changed the price on the website during my call, frustrating. they are not 40.00
