Kohls doesn’t take coupons for toys anymore. Although you can still earn Kohl’s cash. Kohl’s currently has the kitchen for $130 and if I use Ebates it’s still $122. With this Target coupon I got the kitchen for $111.
The effects of toys r us going down, I suppose. I got a good amount of my gifts there the last few years and doubt I’ll get much there now. Way too overpriced at normal prices. I hope they take that exclusion away soon.

The toy catalog sale prices are not showing up for me online. Everything I need is regular price! On the back of the toy catalog, it says those prices are good thru November 21. Are the sale prices in store only?

Me again… OMG, such problems! I’ve been chatting with someone from Target.com for almost an hour now. At one point they had to transfer me to a specialist. Apparently, this is a legit technological issue that they are having. To remedy the situation, they are having me order the items at full price, then they will refund me the difference on Target gift cards. To complicate matters, my 25% off text coupon wasn’t working either, so they are going to adjust for that too. Not that I have time for any of this, but I am determined to get those deals!! 🙂

Barbie dreamhouses seem to be always excluded from promotions. Have you thought about the Kidcraft houses? I just ordered one that my girls are asking for and got it for $122 with the 25% off. It looks great and I think Kidcraft is better quality.
Her heart is set on the dreamhouse. I do have some kohls cash stowed away for it if it comes down to it– about $70 — so we’ll see. We’re only doing 4 gifts a kid this year the want, wear, read, need– so I really want to make this happen.

The LABO games appear to be STEM related. The kids build items that are incorporated for the game. Good idea in theory, imo, but I highly doubt these cardboard creations are going to have much lasting life for the pricetag.

My sons are starting to want Pokémon cards. What on earth do I need to get them for a starting set? There are so many options and I don’t want to understand them all!
There are sets for around $25 (before deals/coupons) that come in what looks like a lunchbox with cards, pencils and some other Pokémon related stuff. You can get the kids all the same outer box but the cards will be different. Search “2018 Pokémon Trading Card Game Spring Collector’s Chest Tin” on Target.com to see what I’m talking about.
Otherwise look for a set with the most card packs, or that features a character you know your child likes.
Another option (what I started doing) is buying the individual packs for about $3-4 and using them as gift tags/adornments on wrapped packages. Sometime between now and Christmas, GameStop will have a B2G1 or something like it sale on Pokémon cards and that’s the time to get them. GameStop employees are generally really great and will help you get the latest cards.

Yes!! I just did the messenger chat and it was super quick! I got the Melissa and Doug play store earlier today. The coupon didn’t work. When I did the chat they credited my card $35!
Update: they finally transferred me to a ‘special order department’ or something because the first gal didn’t have authorization to put the code through 😖 I told the new guy that it had been 45 minutes and I was super frustrated, but not at him! He did the 25% and another 10% because of the hassle, he totally redeemed the experience for me, thankfully!

Mine wasn’t working, said it couldn’t be applied to a b toys item. Customer service said there was a glitch and he had me buy it and credited the money back to my card. I recommend you try the same if the promo isn’t working for something that isn’t excluded

This coupon is just too good to waste on small, inexpensive items. Now is the time to grab the big ticket items you know your kids want. You could save $3 on a Nerf gun or $100 on a playhouse if both are on your list. It’s close enough that if for some reason they are cheaper on Black Friday you can always return it.

From my experience the Best deals have been in October. Get it now girl if it’s a big or hot item. Can always return if needed.
It depends if it’s not a hot toy and you can wait for a sale then I think the prices get better if you wait. I use these deals on hot toys I’m afraid won’t be around closer to Christmas. Also I like buying from Target as I get 90 days to return if a better deal comes or if I change my mind.
Was able to get my son’s first birthday gift. The Fisher Price Food Truck. It was already 5% off, used the 25% off and then used gift cards I received from all the baby supplies promos. Couldn’t use the $10 gc with $50 bc I was under $50. But the original price was $63 and I got it for $38 and change!

The code that was sent to me states it is an invalid promo code. Ugh! I was really hoping to get that Lol bigger surprise. I emailed them to ask for another code.

I just got off the phone with Target customer service and they’re having problems with the promo codes saying they don’t apply to certain toys in your cart, when in fact they do. If your toy promo code isn’t working, call them and they will adjust it for you.
