Done and done! Thanks for posting. I was wondering how I would read the last month of Stephanie Bond’s “Comeback Girl” series! Now, if I could just get another good deal for Audible, I will be set!

      You’re so welcome!! Enjoy!

If you buy a book that’s discounted with kindle unlimited, do you always keep the book? Or does it go away after you cancel your subscription? Thanks!

    • Debbie

      I have this same question!

    • Carrie

No, the books disappear when your subscription ends. It’s a great deal though, I did it the last time this deal was offered

  3. Kelly

It let me sign up for 99 cents and I’ve definitely had kindle unlimited in the past.

Me too! I’m so excited. I never try but because of your comment I did and it worked. Thanks so much!!!!!!!

    • Diane

      It goes away

If you cancel, do you keep the books?

    • Natalie

No, you don’t get to keep the books after you stop using KindleUnlimited.

  8. Danielle

So great, I was just thinking about compiling vacation reads, perfect timing!!

  9. SGK

Can you do a 30 trial and then this?

  10. Kristin

How do I sign up for this deal? It only let me sign up for the 30 day free trial 😢

Just to be clear, KU only works on certain books. You are only allowed to have 10 checked out at a time. It’s kind of like paying for a library of only some books. I’m a librarian and I use my library’s Overdrive collection for best sellers, but I LOVE my KU. I’ve found so many wonderful authors and books. I never could imagine paying $10 a month for books, but now I can’t live without it.

Your public library’s website probably has many thousands of FREE e-books that you can check out to read on your Kindle — including new best-sellers. I’ve never had to buy a book I want to read. Sometimes there’s a wait of a few weeks if it’s a hot, new title but I just keep a line of waiting-list books going and one pops up. I get both Kindle books and audio books for road trips this way. When I check an e-book out through my library’s website, it actually takes me to Amazon’s page to download it as my public library has partnered with Amazon for this service.
