Has anyone been to one of these? What are they like?
I’ve been to many of these in the past and employees never know about it or it’s not worth going to. That being said, I’m planning on taking my daughter to target that day but not mentioning why. So she won’t be disappointed or she’ll be super surprised 🙂 you never know how these events will go from my experience
Thanks for sharing with us, Gina! Good to know what these events have been like for you!
I totally agree and that’s a great plan!
I was wondering the same thing. I would like to take my daughter but don’t want her to be disappointed if it doesn’t happen
Hi Lexie! You can always call in to your store to be certain on how they will offer the event! Hope that helps!
Thank you
You’re welcome!
Hi, please can someone tell about the min age requirement of kid for this event? TIA
Thank you
Usually the target events are a tad lame. It’s a table, they hand you something and take your picture and call it an event. Just our experience locally
Same , katie. i agree….
Really depends on how your Target runs the events. Some are completely clueless and could care less, some are really strict and others not. We’ve been to Target stores which were more organized and actually enjoy hosting the events. For example: Last yr for the Halloween Paw Patrol, the Target had bean bags and chairs set-up in electronics and blasted the Paw patrol episode for that “real movie” setting as advertised, had 4 treat stations around the store. This yr, went to a different Target, They had 2 treat stations, and did not have any seating set-up for the Paw patrol episode and the volume wasnt even on. My daughter was bummed, she really enjoyed the movie setting last yr. The my generation pup adoption event, we went and saw 20+ pups for adoption, staff were extremely friendly and happy to be hosting! My SIL went to a differ Target, they had 5 pups for adoption, was sent from adoption table (located at toy area) to the front of the store, they were told they needed to register and show thier MG doll to qualify to adopt a pup… lastly, if youre interested in their events, just call the store to confirm but expect whoever answers wont know the details and will have to ask a supervisor to confirm.
I clicked on Target Event link given here, it says that the event is Free, but you have “the chance to purchase” the exclusive LoL Surprise Pet once you find it…. So the scavenger hunt is what is free. You still have to purchase the toy.
