Free Uber Rides AND 50% Off Lyft Rides to the Polls on Election Day
On November 6th, Uber and Lyft are offering free or reduced rate rides to polling places for election day!
Uber, specifically, is offering voters across the country promo codes for free rides to the polls on election day. Riders can book a completely free ride to go vote by looking up their designated voting location and entering their home address in the Uber app.
Lyft will be offering 50% off rides to the polls (up to $5 value) to encourage voter turnout! To find the code for your area, go here and enter your zip code. You can enter the code in the promos section of your Lyft app.
Plus, for under-served communities, they’ll provide free rides through nonpartisan, nonprofit partners, including Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates, and the National Federation of the Blind.
