Macy’s Black Friday 2018 Ad: Score Over $300 Worth of FREE Items
The Macy’s 2018 Black Friday Ad Scan has been released! 😮
Many of these deals will be available at Macy’s.com starting at 12AM EST on November 22nd, and in most stores starting at 5PM local time on November 22nd, until 2AM, November 23rd. They will then re-open on November 23rd at 6AM.
Even better, it appears that there will be a $10 off $25 or $20 off $50 purchase coupon valid on select sale items in-store, and select sale and clearance items online – including clothing and home items!
PLUS, there will be a whopping 12 FREE after mail-in rebate offers available. These offers will be valid in-store only for items purchased before 1 PM and have a limit of 1 per customer, with the exception of the pillows which have a limit of 2.

Curious to hear from anyone who did this last year and how it went. Did you get one of each item and did you get your rebates back ok?
We went last year and I would say we got about half of the free items. However, we had a new baby so we didn’t make it out first thing. ha! I’m sure there would have been more available if we went right when it opened. No problems at all receiving the rebates back.
Still waiting on my rebate from here and Kohl’s. I’ll never do rebates from these places again!

I had mine shipped but because one was shipped separately I only got rebates on two. I tried and tried to get the other one but was not successful.
I did this last year and I was at the door waiting for them to open and I got most things but not all. I did have to run😊
The biggest part was all the rebates. They are extremely specific and time consuming so be prepared to spend a substantial amount of time on them and do not make a mistake. They didnt give us all the correct rebate forms at the time so we had to go back.
My kids weren’t here on Thanksgiving so thats the only reason I went to the mall. If you are with family, spend time with them😊
One funny thing.. a very tall man was in the group waiting to get in with all of us at the entrance and once Macy’s opened he started shoving all the older ladies to get to the front of the line, the group was very scrunched together, when he got by me to shove me I stuck my foot out and tripped him😂😂sorry not sorry 🤷♀️🙆♀️
Yes I did, last year it was a paper check. This year when I did a rebate it came in a prepaid visa debit card. Yes you had to activate it, and it’s not hard. But I also kept copies of everything to track the rebate.
I got one of each (and two of the pillows), and it worked perfectly! Every rebate had to have its own form, and I got pre-paid visa cards back for each one individually. The store associates were really good about getting us multiple copies of the receipt to use for the rebates.
We went last year and got all the items except the perfume was gone. We were able to get all the money back. One rebate didnt work, so they emailed us. We were able to resend it and they were ok with that and gave us the money back.
So they are open thursday until (friday) 2 am, then open again at 6 am friday. Do the rebates have to be after 6am friday when they re-open?
That’s correct – Stores will open 5PM local time on November 22nd, until 2AM, November 23rd. They will then re-open on November 23rd at 6AM. The rebate offers will be valid in-store only for items purchased before 1 PM. Hope that helps!
You can get the items starting Thursday at 5pm. If u wait till Friday morning, most (if not all) the free after rebate items will be gone
How do you get the rebate back? Is it like a Macy’s gift card?
For the 12 freebies….you have to go each day they have the particular item? And must get pay by 1 pm?
You can buy all the items you want, but you will have to check the ad to see the limits on how many you can buy and redeem for the rebates. You can go when they open on Thanksgiving or on Black Friday, I think it’s 1pm. Check the ad.
Man, this is the year we decided to go out of town for Thanksgiving… 🙁
Went last year, some items were not available (was told they never came in).
Did not like having to mail each rebate separate (spoiled by Kohls and Menards).
Some were denied (stated I didn’t send UPC). Took letter and pillow (with hole where UPC had been) to store and manager honored.
Manager stated I was not alone in getting rejected.
Overall, not worth my time, very disappointing, will not do again.

I saw the Bella version of the installation pot for $39.99, looks like a good deal. The real install pot for $70.00, seems comparable to other places. I want one but I am going to wait instead.
Don’t count on getting the rebate. I got 4 rebate items last year, 3 rebates actually came on Visa cards. 2 of the rebate cards worked, one never read. I spent an hour texting about the rebate card that never came, they confused my address with my parents and said I was claiming two rebates for the same household; I had kept a copy of all my forms and my parents forms – the error was on their end. I gave them another address (a third address I knew had not submitted rebates) and they promised to send it. They didn’t. I followed up and they had no record of the fix, but again promised to send it when I gave them another address they confirmed had not submitted rebates. Never did. Only time I’ve ever had a rebate problem go unresolved. I was horrible. Only buy if you are ok with maybe not getting a rebate. I didn’t even try to fix the Visa card that didn’t read properly after the other issue.
Can I buy these now?

Do you need to send 2 separate rebates for two pillows? Do you need to buy each pillow separately so it has the original receipt?
There is a limit of two so you should be able to submit them together. We will know more for sure when the actual rebates come out.

We did it last year and found 75% of the items. We received all the rebates. Everything must be submitted separately- even when it’s the same item with a limit of two.
The items were pretty nifty! The employees were so helpful. We kind of made a game around it!
I got my rebate with no problem, but I only did it for one item.
Yikes, I just remembered that I have the Frozen Olaf from last year in my closet!
I had no problem getting the rebates for the few items that my store had in stock. Several never came in to the store.
Each rebate has a separate form and address to submit to. It took a lot more time and effort to send in each one seperately. I prefer the Kohl’s rebate over Macy’s.
Last year I went around midnight and got no freebies… lines were all looking and only was buying 1 item… not worth my time in my opinion especially since I had to go to work the next day!
