There is a warning on the walmart website that states that this product has a cancer causing agent. By CA laws.

Not dismissing you at all, but that is on a huge percentage of things anymore. CA prop 65. It’s even on yoga mats!

Purchase with caution. A lot of the ultra 4K Blu-ray players are not true 4K, but “upscaling”. You can’t play an actual 4K bluray in them, it just “upscales” a regular Blu-ray. We had this happen to us on what I thought was a deal on one for $80 on sale from $149. We recently bought a true 4K with a 10% off total purchase from target. They had the best deal of ANY 4K anywhere I could find. Regular price was $199 and everywhere else was selling the same player for $299. $300+ is a common price for a true 4K player.

Found a few reviews on Amazon stating it is a true 4K player, just without all the bells & whistles…just what I needed. We have a PS4, SmartTV, and Roku so no need for streaming.

Managed to find a local store near me that had them for $35, and they had an entire display of them. So I’ll test it out tonight and update 😉
