I felt the same way but I tried it and it was great. Better service than when I go get food myself. Food was fresh and hot. No issues
It’s funny because I thought that way too. But I had no issues with pizza or Chinese food deliveries. I love Uber Eats now because I have so many options. However, I won’t drink the beverage. It grosses me out. I don’t want my drink riding around in someone elses car.
The thing with Chinese and pizza deliveries is the driver works for the restaurant. They know who he/she is, pretty well. Uber is one of a hundred or thousand random people, and Uber really doesn’t know its drivers.
That is very true. I never looked at it that way.
Haven’t tried uber eats, but I placed a mobile order last night at 5:50, and the restaurant lost my order somehow. I didn’t get my food til 6:50, and they barely gave my an apology. For that long of a wait my food should’ve been comped.
Smiliar thing happened to me. I placed a mobile order and pulled in. After 30 minutes I called and stated I’ve been waiting..they realised they lost the order and gave me a $5.00 gift card.
Don’t you think the Uber driver would steal a few of your fries??

Haha! My order has always come in a stapled brown grocery bag. It would be very easy to see if someone had opened the bag.
