Haha, I hear ya. I got one for a present for from my husband’s boss for our first Christmas. I felt the same way about it. But 28 years later, it is always displayed and I totally love it! Mine is about two feet tall!

Check QVC. I saw a 15 inch tree by ‘Mr. Christmas’ for $40 and a larger one for $99 (not sure of the size). They look similar to the original one my grandmother has. Good luck!
