THANK YOU!!! This deal is exactly what I was looking for!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! 🙌 You’re SO welcome!

  2. Jessi

We have gotten the Staples Groupon for the last 3 years and we LOVE them! They are thick card stock and not cheap glossy picture paper. And I love that they have a print on the back too. They are our favorite. And $14 for 50?! A steal!

  3. Valerie

Not going to lie, we did the staples deal 2 years ago and the cardstock was quality but the printing was not. It made our professional photos look terrible, think pixelated.

    • Kathy

mine too. and the color was horrible. all the yellow bled. they reprinted for free and the second batch were better but still…..not professional photo print quality. they are a paper/office store. they should stick to that

      • Jen

mine too. I did Staples last year and wasn’t too pleased with the quality. The paper is thick but the colors and fonts are not very crisp. I did it again this year bc of the price but once again was not thrilled with them. I choose the card stock option with no photo. The color always comes out off. They were at 2 different Staples locations too.

  4. sunny

People who don’t send out a lot of cards, do you buy photo cards or just buy regular christmas cards?

    • nikis22

      I do photo cards

    • Evan

I send photo cards & only about 12-15 each year.

  5. Kalynn

Still hoping for Amazon to have their 60% off sale in a few days. I ordered Dec 5 last year. 75 cardstock cards with printed return address envelopes for $22.50 – 30¢ a piece!

    • kim

I don’t know if Amazon is going to do any good deals this year in the printing dept. Last year I scored great deals on photo books and holiday cards, this year I have not seen any good deals.

      • Kalynn

I’m still holding out hope. I ordered the 5th of December, and I know it was a 1-3 day special 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

        • Kalynn

It was actually the 4th, not the 5th.

          • MrsA

Do you need to be a Prime member to get the 60% off sale (if they have it again)? I got rid of Prime this year.

    • Leah

I was hoping for the same thing. I’ve been buying my cards from Amazon for the past few years for the great prices, but this year have not seen any codes yet.

    • Holli

Yes – me too!!!! I was just looking to see if the deal was here yet.

    • stacy

Me TOO!!! that was the best high quality deal of them all!

    • Anja

I ordered them from Amazon on 12/14/17 with a coupon. Paid $15.80 for 50. So I am hoping the same deal will come up again

  6. Nisie

I buy a design from Etsy in a 4 by 6 size. I then send it off to be printed printed at Walmart at 25 cents a card. I get the envelops from dollar tree cards. I send out around 20, so this is actually a good savings for me. It cost me around $12 dollars for this and I don’t pay for shipping.

    • Kalynn

How do you just buy envelopes at the dollar store? Or are you buying the cards and not using them?

  7. nikis22

These are really good deals! I have always used Tiny Prints or Shutterfly and have been very happy. Of course I only do photo cards on deals and $ off this year was 50 cards for $21 including shipping but I am always happy with the cards.

    • Kate

Hi! How did you get the 50 cards for $21?

    • Em

Tiny prints has 40% off and free shipping and I can’t get anywhere near 50 cards for $21. With the cheapest card of $1.29, 50 cards is like $39. How did you get such a great deal?! I love Shutterfly and Tiny prints but they are a little pricey….$21 for 50 cards is awesome!

  8. Julie

I can attest to the quality of the Sam’s Club cards. I have gotten them the last few years and they are very nice. They come with envelopes, too.

    • M

      Second that

    • sunny

I ordered photos from Sams club before. Way better than Shutterfly. Pictures come out clean and crisp. I don’t like Shutterfly’s print quality overall. I won’t pay for their pictures unless it’s free.

    • Rochelle

I’m SOOO glad to hear that. I used Sam’s for the first time this year as I just couldn’t justify twice the price for Shutterfly again. Sam’s photo website is not the most intuitive and my preview was fuzzy, which made me nervous. The resolution on the photo was very high, and it should have been plenty for Christmas card. Fingers crossed.

  9. Stef81

I purchased a Groupon deal for 40 cards from photo affections for $15! Shipped the day after I ordered. Received today (3 business days after order) and they are amazing! Super well packaged, quality print, quality card stock. I did have to pay shipping, making it about $.50 per card, but still a great deal.

    • Ctourre

I used the deal for 70 cards for $24. I’ve used this deal for the last 2 years. I love photoaffections. They have really nice designs and the matte photo cards look like premium cardstock. So much cheaper than Shutterfly and better quality than Walgreens.

  10. Rebekkah

I just picked up our cards today from Walgreens and I have to say I was terribly disappointed with the quality. So much so, that in fact I’m going back tomorrow and seeing if they truly stand by their hundred percent satisfaction guarantee. The paper was thin and it looks like all the edges were a perforated tear and rip style, so it’s not even nicely cut on the edges. It is a great bargain but the cards were so flimsy and with poor print quality, that I wouldn’t even send them out.

    • Chantel

I agree. I did ours at Walgreens one year after getting them at Shutterfly for years. The quality at Walgreens was so bad I was embarrassed to send them out.

    • dealgirl

I saw a deal on Walgreens cards last year and ordered them. The print quality was so poor that I ended up returning them.

  11. Martha

I did the Black Friday 100 prints for $15 at Sams club and was blown away by how good the quality was. Way better than I’ve gotten at Shutterfly over the years. Very impressed and super inexpensive!

  12. Kristen

Was waiting for an awesome card deal post… like the Amazon Prints deal last year!! Feel it was getting too late, so ordered and used groupon for Picaboo, cards were $16 for 40 on Cyber Monday, not bad for high quality, double-sided!

    • Alex

      Kristen- how much was shipping?

    • Kalynn

It’s not even December!! It’s definitely not too late! Still lots of time! 🙂

  13. Patti

thanks for the list! I always forget about Staples! And I love that you can print pictures on both sides!

  14. Kalynn

Do you have to be a Sam’s Club member to order their cards?

  15. Sarah

I was holding out for amazon too! Anyone know how long Groupon will offer the staples coupon?

  16. Carissa

Just picked up my Staples cards- the picture quality isn’t the best, but it’s a great deal and the cards are thick. I ordered 100, realized a few days later they only gave me 50. I called and they had an extra 50 printed in just a few hours for free. Excellent service.

  17. Angela

Anyone know the quality of Costco’s cards?

    • Sandra

I was wondering the same thing.

      • Christine Blaylock

I order from Costco because it is fast and the process is simple. I think it is a case that your mileage may vary. The location nearest us is great and I happy with the quality however the one time I printed at another location I was not happy and had to have them reprint.

    • Molly

I’ve ordered from Costco. I like their prices but I’ve noticed the photos aren’t as crisp and clean as they should be. I get professional photos so the image quality shouldn’t be lacking. It’s not terrible but something I’ve noticed and decided not to continue ordering.

  18. Molly

I’ve ordered from snapfish the past couple of years. They are a good quality and they have pretty high discounts.

  19. Kerri

Thank you for this post. Question, does anyone have a tiny prints email for the $50 off an order they are not using? I order from them a lot and was so excited when I saw this post. But I don’t see one in my inbox/junk/trash. Totally bummer!😭😭 Do you know when it went out?
If anyone has one they are not using I would love it!! (Not likely, but thought i would ask) Thank you!!

  20. Kay

Thanks so much for this post. Have been looking hard for the best deal. Our first year doing Christmas photo cards since moving. Thanks Since I have a pack of handmade cards and a pack of Christmas printer paper, I decided to just print a collage 4×6 at Walmart for $0.15 each. I’m sure we will need more cards for my husband’s side, in which I’ll use one of these deals.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Kay!

  21. JU

Does anyone still have a Tiny Prints Email code?

  22. Ctourre

I used the groupon deal for 70 cards for $24 from photoaffections. Now the deal is 70 cards/$27.99. I’ve used this deal for the last 2 years. They also offer 40 cards for $17.99. The matte photo cards look as good as premium cardstock. You can upgrade to the premium cardstock if you want for extra. They’ve got really nice designs and they process and ship them really fast.

    • Alex

What are the shipping charges from them?

  23. Kristen

I just bought this. They have free shipping until Dec 2. There is also a WRAP20 code on Groupon to get 20% off. There was a flash sale on ebates for 20% off as well. I got 40 cards for $14.36 and then the 20% back from ebates. It will be a great deal.

  24. Amanda

Another vote for Sam’s Club. I have used them for probably the last 8 years and have been extremely happy with the quality every time. Thanks for sharing this (I always go through the sites to try to find the best deals and you have saved me so much time knowing I should just stick with my usual!!)

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We sure do appreciate you sharing your feedback Amanda! So awesome to hear the quality has been good for so many years!

  25. Katy

Does anyone know if the Sam’s Club cards (I think they’re 6 x 8) require extra postage? I’ve found conflicting information online.

  26. Emily

For those who’ve gotten the Groupon for Photoaffections… The Groupon says it’s good for single-sided or photo-style card stock. If I want to do double-sided cards, will it allow me to upgrade? And if so, will the site just add the difference on at checkout after I enter my Groupon code?

Thanks in advance to anyone who’s able to answer this for me! 🙂

    • Nibha

Yes they will add the difference for the double sided cards. I just ordered today and the groupon is like a promo code so no other code can be used in conjunction which means you end up paying another $8.75 for shipping (since I could not use the current free shipping code on the website). I also did not realize that I had to pay tax on the entire amount of my order (including shipping) before the voucher was applied which added another ~$4.25 to the order. All in I spent $31 for 40 cards.

  27. Kat

Has anyone done holiday cards at Officemax in store? They have a 60% coupon right now and I wasn’t sure if it was a good deal or not.
