I just bought this right before Thanksgiving around the same price from Kohl’s and I absolutely love it!!!!
Oh awesome! SO glad you have been loving yours, Stephanie! Thanks for sharing with us!
Wondering how this compares to the Shark ION robot vac. I bought one black Friday same price and haven’t used yet. Should I get this one instead?
Would love to know that too.
I haven’t tried this one but I have the Shark Ion and don’t love it. It doesn’t work on area rugs at all and leaves a lot of pet hair still on the hard floors. I’m thinking of trying this one.
Thanks Cathy. I appreciate that feedback
Don’t forget to go through ebates! Kohls is 6% back. Might not be much but it totally adds up! I have $56 cash back just from November.
This is what convinced me to finally buy one instead of just talking about how much I want a robotic vacuum. Can’t wait for it to be delivered! Thank you!
I have neato botvac d series, bought from kohl’s 2 years ago. I can’t say enough about it. I absolutely love it. I have 2 toddlers and use it every day. I bought both room ba and neato to compare side by side and returned roomba. No maintenance.
Oh sweet! We sure do appreciate you sharing your feedback Pxl! Happy to hear you’re still loving it after 2 years! 🙂
That is awesome thanks so much for the feedback!
Does Kohl’s offer any warranty or the ability to buy insurance. I bought the Shark Ion R85 from Amazon on Black Friday and got the 3 year insurance.
My husband got me the D5 about a month ago as an early “push present” and I love it. With 2 preschoolers and a dog in the house I’m afraid to let it run when I’m not supervising it, but it would probably be just fine. It rarely gets stuck or lost, has never run out of battery before returning to its base and was easy to set up and start using. My only complaint is that I have to pause the cleaning to empty the dirt multiple times during a cleaning cycle (more a problem with my kids and dog being dirty than with the robot). It does a great job picking up the short coarse fur of our labrador, however the longer softer fur of a dog we pet sat got tangled badly around the brushes. It also struggles picking up stickers.
Thanks Amy!
Finally broke down and bought it. Been researching for 2 years and decided on the Neato. I figure this is a great entry point. No carpets in the house, all hard surfaces, and a cat…this should be the ticket (fingers crossed)
Bummer. Out of stock.
Oh darn! Thanks for the heads up! This is gone for me now as well. 🙁
We are on our second Neato because we love them so much! The square corners allow it to get into corners whereas the other vacuums are round so they miss alot. Also, the Neato uses lasers to map out the room and then vacuums in a back and forth pattern. The Roomba (and I assume the others as well) vacuum randomly. You have to make sure that clothing is picked up (socks are the worst) otherwise it will get stuck in the brush.
