Got this for my granddaughter, came in very well packaged with no damage. Once together, it looks good very solid and there is plenty of room for toys. I wanted a nice clean white chest so my daughter could put stickers on it and put her personal touch to it, the finish on it is smooth and nicely done. All in all – really happy with it and daughter and granddaughter delighted that’s what counts.
This was easy to put together. It did take two people to put together. It is made of decent wood. Only the bottom is not solid wood. It seems like it is going to hold up well. It looks small but fits a ton of toys in it. The closer is set up so that it cannot close on little fingers. Love Melissa & Doug products!
OMG exceeded ALL expectations! I was hesitant to spend so much on a toy box but the quality is superb and it was one of the easiest assemblies I’ve put together, the lid took the longest mostly because I’m OCD and wanted everything to line up perfectly and didn’t have an extra set of hands. But 10/10, would buy again!
