This system includes three WiFi points which provide a total of 4,500 square feet of WiFi coverage. Designed to replace your router and work as a modem and internet service, they are compatible with Comcast, Time Warner, Verizon Fios and more.
Has anyone used this before that can tell me how good of a job it does? Can it really replace your home WiFi?
We have these. We still pay for internet but it helps so we have consistent speeds and no dead spots within our house. We save a few bucks a month bc we don’t have to use our internet providers router.
We have the 3 set & it works really well to boost the signal throughout our home. We live in a 3 story home & our modem/router is located on the ground (bottom) level. We have them placed on each level & have the same internet speed up on the top floor as we do on the ground floor. Without these, the internet signal would never reach the 3rd level. Hope that makes sense 🙂
We tried these and speeds were slow. We upgraded to the Netgear orbi system and its amazing. Blazing speeds throughout our 4000 sq ft home
I have a small house. just over 1500 square ft. I upgraded my modem as my old modem/router combo wasn’t fast enough for 200 mbps speeds plus that was only guaranteed for a wired Connection. I added a single Google wifi point as my router. The advantage is that it runs the devices that have to be on 2.4 ghz on 2.4 ghz and things like your computer on the less crowded 5 ghz band all in the same network so everything can still communicate. my PC went from around 20 mbps speed to 129 mbps. And my firestick (DirecTVnow) no longer buffers all the time. It is a pricey upgrade but if you have alot of devices connecting to your wifi… and most homes do these days, its worth considering.
Thank y’all for the wonderful feedback! I went to order them off of the officedepot website, but the 15% savings doesn’t appear to be available to me:(
I also tried it and the 15% didn’t come off.
