   That’s a great deal! We paid 50 for ticket to ride last Christmas! It is still our favorite game!

   If you are at all on the fence I 100% recommend Catan. We have owned it for over 5 years and it still gets played for multiple evenings a month. Sometimes it is just the adults playing, other times the kids play with us. As long as the kids are at least around 10, it would make a great family gift.
   Factoring in the gift card, you will not find a better price.

  While this is a great deal with the gift card included, I did find Catan & Ticket to Ride for $24.99 each at my local Marshall’s store.

  We love Cataan and Carcasonne. My now seven-year-old loves it and even cleans the adults clicks playing some times. We started him playing (us laying the tiles where he directed) when he was four. It is a great game that can be quickly taught. We took it on a road trip to visit family one summer and it turned out to be a great way to engage people.

  We have it and love it! But we love it because of all the expansion packs we have with it- we have about 6. The base game is fun but if you like games you would probably want to expand sooner or later. We just bought a big box that included the expansions.

   Anyone else being charged shipping? When I go to check out with Catan, I am being charged $5.99 shipping. What am I doing wrong?

  Hi Stacey! Thanks for pointing that out. I’m seeing that now as well. It seems that the cost of the gift card is not factored into the Free Shipping threshold. Hope that helps! I have just updated the post!

  For some reason Walmart discounts the amount of the gift card off of the game when calculating your spending amount towards the $35 needed towards free shipping.
  You can try using chat to see if they will manually adjust it since the item says ships free or you can just add something else to your cart that costs $11.10 more.

   If you search “FREE $20 eGift Card” it also brings up a deal for an$10 gc when you buy Exploding Kittens or Cards Against Humanity
