I use it for my Christmas tree and I love it!! I have it set to come on in the morning and shut off and then on in the evening and shut off. I just hit the button to turn it on and off while home at lunch. Glad I made the purchase!
I have 5 switches connected to Alexa and Google Home. As long as you have a strong enough wifi connection, there shouldn’t’ be an issue with latency or drop signals. I use them primarily to control my fans and lights. I’m a 55 year old housewife with limited technical background but was able to install them myself DIY style.
We love our Wemo switches paired with our Echo & Echo dots! They are easy to install and I’ve never had an issue with them functioning properly. If the power goes out they reset on their own. Great deal!

Just purchased one. Thanks for posting! Perfect timing.
You’re welcome, Mary!
We have one and love it. We purchased it after my husband was in a accident. He was unable to get out of bed without my assistance. So he hated that he couldn’t just simply turn a light on and off. We have a lamp in ours. He has since recovered but we still use it every night and we had newborn twins a few months ago and I like not having to get up and possibly wake them.
Can you use this with Google Home mini?
Yes you can!!
Do you need any kind of special light fixtures or does it work with any lights
Any light/lamp that plugs in to a wall. In other words, it can’t control your light switches. It only controls the power flow between the wall outlet and the item plugged into it.
