Stetson Celebrated His Birthday Week With Surprise Gift From Collin — See How His Deal Shopping Went!
Stetson here… so you may not know that I celebrated my 27th birthday this past weekend! What you probably do know is that Collin likes to give gifts! However, sometimes these “gifts” are not what you would imagine getting for your birthday. So last week when Collin said she had a gift for me to pick up, I was scared. 😬

Before heading to get my gift, I had to get some work done, and that meant heading to ULTA! 😳 Awesome, right?! WRONG. My mission was to find a popular palette to photograph. Come to find out, those things have alarms on them! Who puts alarms on makeup?!
Next, it was off to Whole Foods to scope out a cheese deal and some free samples!
The day continued to surprise me, but not in a good way. I went into Sam’s Club only to learn that I had to find and photograph like 40 items! While it was not the most fun experience, I guarantee you I got alllllll my daily steps in looking for deals. 🕺
Then at Walgreens, I was able to find the old dusty shelf in the back that had a handful of clearance items, along with some opened boxes of candy. 🤔 I was excited when I thought I spotted a 1¢ clearance deal – but, ummmm – math error.
Last, but certainly not least, I made it to Kohl’s to pick up my gift from Collin. You’ll have to watch the video for the big reveal! As predicted, it’s another Collin attempt to play cupid yet again. 🙄
It was quite the ending to an interesting week, and I had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends and family.
As I ended the week nestled snug in my bed, the sirens of Ulta alarms danced in my head.
Tucked in wearing my sweater, and happy she didn’t get the matching cap, I settled my brain for a long Sunday nap.

Hey Stetson: Happy Birthday! Fun video. Love watching and “learning” with you. BTW, for those of us in warm weather states, ie: Florida, we are always stocking up on sunscreen. That sunscreen that you found for 50% off might be a good deal if it’s not expired or doesn’t expire until next summer 2019. We generally start wearing sunscreen around March (although we’ve been slathering it on this week, too), so that would possibly be a good find.

I live in FL too. That tiny bottle is no where near worth 3.50. U can find much better deals on sunscreen. That price would only work if u were 5 mins from the beach and realized u forgot sunscreen. In other words a beachfront Walgreens LOL.

Stetson, I have a daughter who is 19, but she needs an older partner, she’s mature, brilliant, beautiful. She’s a red headed ballerina (yes that equals crazy, but not black swan level crazy). She attends UW and is studying computer science (nerds are hot!) If you’re single and ready to mingle, she’s a catch. As I don’t know your preference, I also have a 25 year old son. He’s a bit of a fixer upper, but he’s got a great heart and soul and beard. You can probably find a great coupon or gift card deal to take one of them out on the town.
Omg “a fixer upper”. That term is hysterical. I believe that will be my go to when trying to explain a couple people in my family too. Its not an insult..BUT people know what to expect !! Thanks for the giggle !!
