Thats why you have to follow directions, Wear the goggles. Don’t aim at face. I know they still hurt when they are fit other places as well, but we don;t use unless the goggles are on.
If I recall, the kid had a previous injury from an arrow hitting that same eye prior to the nerf incident. The Nerf Dart pushed the eye over the edge so to speak. Wear the goggles but the foam dart didn’t exactly cause the bulk of the damage.
