There is NO such thing as a flushable wipe. Trust me.
I can’t believe HIp2SAVE wrote flushable in the title when they’ve had so much discussion on this site about how not flushable these wipes are!!!! Stop promoting it!
Hi Laura! You’re absolutely right that there has been much discussion on these not being flushable. I removed the word flushable from the title and post. My kiddos actually use these, BUT no wipes get flushed down any toilets for exactly that reason. 🙂
Are they not called that?? As knowledgeable consumers that we are, we know the issues with these types of wipes. Burden lies on us to use accordingly. H2S is just giving us a heads up that this is a good deal on them. Flush your ‘tude down the toilet!
No such thing as flushable wipes.
the fact that these companies are still able to market these as flushable is appalling. a barbie is also flushable, it doesn’t mean it should be flushed. Did you see the news story where in the UK they just found a sewage mass that is larger than a jet and will take 8 weeks for their workers to “dismantle”. It’s composed of human waste, grease and you guessed it, flushable wipes.
Yup. It’s called a fatberg ..gross. I like wipes but guess problem is they take too long to break down. If u look on kleenex boxes now also not flushable. Only tp…its made to break down.
Still cheaper at sams with the current $2.50 instant savings, just FYI 😛 just not the aloe kind
I don’t trust these companies that still use the word “flushable” when they know they are not. I was actually kind of surprised to see Cottonelle wipes on H2S after they just posted a while back about a lawsuit against them.
I rather buy baby wipes. They are cheaper for the amount you get.
