  You can select how you want to receive it. I believe it is sent after pickup of the product.

  Hi Aaron! It looks like you will get the gift card after you have picked up you order. Here is what I find listed in the details – “Your gift card will be shipped to you after you have picked up your qualifying order or your Target Restock order has shipped. ”
