Has anyone ever bought from this site before and can tell me about it? I am always apprehensive to spend this amount of money on something without knowing someone has personally used a company. I am currently paying off my cruise, and hey saving a couple bucks wouldn’t hurt at all, any personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you SO much!

I just looked them up as we are going on a cruise next month. The reviews are not good. I am going to stay clear. I hope this helps!

I bought multiple Nike gift cards from here a couple years ago when they had a similar sale. I received the gift cards through email and everything was fine. I too am a little nervous to spend this much on a gift card that I won’t be using for a while though. My cruise isn’t until October.

Kristen, I have bought from Newegg (digital content and computer software) before and have had no issues whatsoever. As long as you charge it, your charge card should take care of any dispute. Again, though, I’ve had no issues.

I have purchased 6 Carnival onesfrom Newegg & never had an issue. Just cruised during Christmas took my GC#s to Guest Service & they were added to my sign n sail card with no problem. Did the same thing in summer. I have used AARP too & dont any longer. I enjoy Newegg. We also had a balance left after we sailed & they sent a refund check. In the past, they sent us a GC which is fine too. Hope that helps!

Can they be used to go towards gratuity?

        • Evan

Yes if u apply it towards your original purchase. U just pay w ugh the GC. I’ve done it before this way

Newegg is a very reputable company and have been around forever. They’re very popular with tech folks.

Newegg is a legit company. I have ordered items from them before. I have never ordered a gift card but other computer type of items

I’ve bought this deal every time hip2save has offered it and have never had any issues. We cruise on carnival at least once a year and we us these GCs to pay down our cruise balance.

We bought the Newegg Dominos gift cards from a promo on here a few weeks ago…we had no issues! HTH

I used this offer last year but the code is not working for me this morning.

Hmm, I still find code EMCTUVV67 to work for me as listed above. Maybe try again in a different browser OR switch to desktop view if using a mobile device. I had success using Chrome on my laptop. Hoping that helps!

    • janet greever

      Worked once I signed in!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh good! Thanks for the update!

I normally get mine from AARP Rewards for good. Save 10% off every $100! Making 2 gift cards only $180! You do not have to be a paid member and the question I get the most is.. Do you have to be old to use aarp? No you do not 🙂 you have to take a few quizzes to earn points and then you can redeem them. Its valid for Royal Caribbean as well and its has a whole lot of other gift cards and items! This is a very trustworthy site as I have used it to save more than $2000 since beginning to use it!! I am a travel agent and swear by it!

    • Kristina K

I agree that AARP is better. I just bought a $1000 one for $900. I will buy another with my points soon

    • dixiedozier

Thank you so much for sharing!! My mom is a member and never knew about the rewards section. She has a cruise booked with Carnival this spring and will purchase some from AARP for savings. Thank you!!

We did this deal last year and the $15 added up. We had no problem with the codes. It takes a whole like 15 , 20 minutes to get the email but they are legit. We have even taken them up on their Xbox live deals!

  8. Kaye

?? Will the GC be mailed or will it be an eCard??

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! It is an egift card. Here is what I found in the details – “Codes are usually delivered in minutes or, at most, within 48 hours depending on additional order validation required by Newegg or your Credit Card company. If you are unable to successfully receive your code, please contact Newegg customer service.” Hope that helps!

newegg.com is a reputable site … over the past 10+ years I have purchased many computer-related items from them. They are similar to Best Buy, but online only.

  10. Cynthia

Thanks! I bought the $400 in eGift cards this morning and have already received the codes and successfully applied them on carnvial.com toward the outstanding fare for my July cruise.

  11. Ann

I just went to go purchase, and it is showing its out of stock the $200. Is there a discount on the other amounts for gift cards?

  12. Shelloz

One of our citi cards i think simplicity offers 10% off carnival and a few other gift cards.
