I shopped there this past Saturday. There was a large selection of Xmas leftovers at my local DG. Items were 70% off at the time. I grabbed a lot of .30 cents stuff. Got some items that cost $3 and under with the applied 70% off discount. I had heard the price was to drop to .25 cents starting yesterday, Tuesday. I’m fighting a cold and didn’t want to press my luck by going out in the cold air. Sure wish I could have gotten there though. Sure wish I had carried more $$ with me last Saturday.

Puffs required a manager override and didn’t ring .25 for me yesterday. Ymmv on coupon + override.
I went to 2 DG stores yesterday and they will not override the puffs with Christmas theme on them.

I went to one store yesterday. The cashier did an override on the Welch’s sparkling grape juice bottles for me. They were on the table with the rest of the Christmas clearance and he said the manager just wanted it gone. Only got 4 since I didn’t make much cash on me. I also got some 2 pack cookie tins, a serving bowl, and 2 4 packs of plastic plates.
Disappointed…the Dollar General I went to was only 50% off. (Columbus, OH)
Per a District Mgr at a location near me, they (stores) may have it marked 70-90% but their corporate office changed it all to
$.25 bc they have so much summer stuff to move in they need it gone. Some vendor items should not be discounted bc they can send it back for credit I.e. Glad, P&G, Reynolds. Hope this helps! I was at mine Yues am when they opened & they were just pulling the .25 signs out to post & told anyone that walked in all about it. There were 6 tubs & a 6 Wheeler full of stuff.

Just stopped at one store after work. I got a cute angel tree topper, a two pack of reindeer glitter ornaments, snowman gift card tin, santa bank of cotton candy, a cute gingerbread container, and two adorable unicorn gift bags. Have to look at some other stores tomorrow.
My store had already boxed up a lot of their Xmas items two weeks ago because their items wasn’t selling on clearance. I did score a bunch of paper plates, glade press and seal, candles, kleenex and some plug ins
