   Yay! I can’t be the only Hip2Saver who looks forward to the monthly Costco post! Reading the comments to see what others like have turned me onto so many products that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. The H2S community’s “review” and feedback is almost as good/reliable as trying out a sample in store. I shop almost exclusively at Costco, Aldi and Amazon now. Thanks Collin & Co. for all the hard work.

  We used to get those all the time because they are so good, but then I looked at the nutritional information. Lots of good stuff in there, but each bite also has a lot of calories and if you’re watching your calorie intake, it’s very easy to get carried away because they’re THAT good.

  When a Costco store opened nearby in November they had some deals on memberships, I don’t think they were giving discounts towards the membership but extra savings on products. I am not sure what exactly because I have been a member for years. Also I think prior to that they went to police stations offering the above mentioned deals to the police officers. They might have went to other places but this is what I know from a friend who is police officer. Sorry that I couldn’t be of more help but I am positive you will not see groupon deal on membership.

  You can have a member get you a Costco giftcard and use the giftcard to pay-it gets you into the stores the same way the member card does… but I’m not sure if you get the coupon discounts- I assume you do as the register rings up things?

  Their price on organic meat can not be beat. Definitely one of my favorite things to get there.
  Their pre mixed margarita in the liquor store is great to have on hand for a quick drink with friends. (The one inside is a wine based product, get the one outside in the separate liquor store.)
  They have pre cooked chicken kabobs and boiled eggs in a 2 pack that are great to have on hand when eating healthier, they taste great cold or throw in a lunch.

  Hi!! My family of 5 eats 90% organic, my kiddos are gluten free and we eat pretty clean. Not too many packaged items, lots of veggies, ect. I couldnt live without costco!! A massive clamshell of organic spinach for $3.99! 10 pounds of organic carrots for 6.99, yes please! 3 lbs of organic bananas for 1.99. Unless you’re a freezer connoisseur, it may be difficult for you to use up the amount of produce on time if you’re single but for my family, its a lifeline!! Go check it out, you may just fall in love. You’ll def find something you can’t live without! =)

  Organic bananas. Organic cage free eggs. Organic butter. Salad kits and lettuce. Their organic meat is good if I don’t have any on hand from sales in the freezer. Guac. Large bags of frozen veggies. Ezekiel bread. Natural kirklands peanut butter. Large cans of tomato sauce that I break up and use some in making my own freezer meals. 🙂 I usually don’t buy much of their produce it seems to go bad quicker. I am in the midwest (suburb of Chicago) not sure if anyone else has experienced this.

  We just bought the granola cups and are so disappointed! The almond butter is much too sweet, tastes artificial. I’ve been a member for 12 years and never returned food there because I didn’t like the taste but I will be returning this one. Especially because we paid full price today. It looked good in the pictures though!

  I have to agree with Juliette…they are so sweet and not very flavorful! The Aussie bites would be a healthier and tastier alternative. Has anyone tried the basmati rice? We eat a lot of it and I was getting it in bulk at Winco so I decided to buy a huge bag at Costco. It tasted (not looked) moldy the first time so I tried making a second batch and the same thing. I was able to return it, but I’m wondering if we just got a bad batch?

    Do prices vary at each Costco? The Costco (Union, NJ) has the Olay body wash at $13.99-$4=9.99.
