Cereal is getting more and more ridiculous. Caticorn with edible glitter….seems silly to me. I’m sure there are little ones out there that would be excited to get this for breakfast.
Moms, your children are growing every day, literally building the organs and muscles they will live with the rest of their lives. How will this cereal help feed that? Food is the one powerful tool you have to help your kids be healthy as adults.
Ever heard of moderation?
While I agree, I do- rarely- buy my kids this kind of junk food cereal. The rule is though that they have to cut it 50/50 with regular yellow- box Cherrios that only has 1g sugar per serving.
Is the concern the 11 grams of sugar per serving? That’s not even a tablespoon… I put more than that in my coffee some days. Other than that, it’s just as balanced as any other breakfast cereal. ๐
Did we ask you for your opinion or advice? Didn’t think so.
Oh good lord kaily. Lighten up. But we all know whos house all the kids DONT want to sleep over. ๐๐
You know, something fun and different is great for once in a while. Some kids don’t want to eat breakfast at all, and this is not much better or worse than many breakfast options. You could add this to a snack mix for a themed party if you wanted to. JMHO.
It’s really shocking how much junk is marketed to kids. Especially by Kelloggs. Ok..they are cute, but really?
Edible glitter? Lol As fascinating as it seems I canโt imagine buying it.
My daughter just got a caticorn squeezimal at walmart yest for $1! She would love it! In moderation ๐
Itโs great that the companies are coming up with fun and innovative cereals, however I am very skeptical.
I understand moderation but the real health effects only show up after the damage is done.
Sugar is still okay because we know the health effects and we can control sugar but I am worried about newer artificial ingredients without enough information about long term health effects. I would not try something that does not sound like food.
Just like so many drugs are introduced into the market without sufficient research and then recalled after a few years due to adverse side effects.
I wouldn’t serve this as breakfast (I’m in the high-protein+fruit breakfast club), but my kids would love this as dessert! It would also be super fun to make cereal necklaces with this cereal.
Love the cereal necklaces idea Haley!
Do other stores sell this? My kids need it. It’ll be a nice change from their usual unicorn cereal.
Wait, you guys are sharing with your kids? I was getting this for myself…
