We got this bird feeder last summer and it is super sturdy and the birds love it! The only little hiccup is that there is a small indentation on the underside of the feeder. Make sure you check that before you bring it inside. We had a little (well, not really that little😳) guest 🕷who made her home in there. Luckily I was able to get it back outside quickly!!

I’ve had this happen before. I just filled the indentation with hot glue. I’m allergic to bees, so I make sure to cover all holes that aren’t supposed to be there just for that reason!
Just a friendly reminder as a bee keeper. It’s the wasps that build underneath things like this. Honeybees stick to the hive and do a very important job for all of us that like to eat 🙂 I love your idea about hot glue, I’m going to do that! And I hope you don’t get stung by any wasp or bees this year!

I have had this for two years and honestly it’s not that awesome. It looks great however I find that it collects a lot of water and the nectar gets watered down…once that happens hummingbirds stop showing up.
