  I use this brand or Xtra to wash cleaning rags, rugs, dish towels, beach towels.

   Laundromats are use Sun brands detergent, not expensive but it is effective.

   As people with sensitive skin and itching problems, this detergent has never given us any problems. I don’t care for Ultra or Arm & Hammer brand, among other discount brands… As far as stain removal, whether Persil or Tide any higher priced brands, timing is important (faster you treat stains, better!). Plus,HE washes don’t always get stains out when set on a basic wash cycle, all aren’t created equal and doesn’t matter which detergent you use. All things considered, I definitely recommend this detergent for people on a budget wanting clean smelling clothes, no overpowering scent and comparable stain removal.

  I have to agree with you! We cannot use Tide, Persil, Gain, All, etc. in our household because they make us itch terribly. My go-to brand is Purex but ended up trying Sun on a whim. No allergic reactions and our clothes smelled really good! I used the one in the purple bottle. Can’t beat it for the price!

   Food4less has the huge 188oz bottle for only $2.99 if anyone else has one in their area.
