Or, if you prefer, this 9ft Kids Full Size Folding Floor Balance Beam is on sale for $34.99 (regularly $88.99) – making it only $29.99 after code HIP2SAVEBEAM at checkout.
I have a sneaking suspicion, after reading the reviews on these and trying out a similar 4ft beam at my neighbor’s house, that the 9 ft foldable beam may be softer and squishier than the 4ft beam. Does anyone know if my suspicions are correct? If so, I’ll be spending the extra money to get 2 4ft beams instead of one 9 ft. beam. Thanks for any info!
I just ordered two of the 4 foot ones and the code took off $10 so it gave $5 off each one. FYI
I purchased both the 4ft and the 9ft on February 18 and got them this morning. They both have about the same stiffness except the 9ft one sits a lot lower on the floor but it’s not as squishy as it seems as I thought it would be. The 4ft one is not as pictured. The brown material is loose and does not have all the velcros it claims to have… my 4 year old likes the 9ft one much better as she finds it easier to balance on.
Thank you so much for the information!!
Thanks a bunch for the helpful review, Mo! Good to know which one is liked most! You could always call in to customer service if one of them did not arrive as expected. 1-844-948-8400 Hope that helps!
That’s really disappointing about the 4 ft. beam. Which of the velcros is/are missing? Also, has your daughter ever said why she thinks it’s easier to balance on the 9 ft? I’m sorry to be a pain! I’m just trying to buy whatever is closest to a real beam 🙂
We ordered the 9ft one when It was first posted and it arrived today. My daughter was surprised it wasn’t soft and cried when she tried a somersault and “hurt” herself. She is only 3 😉
It easily supports a 150lb adult without denting.
Would this be good to support an eight year old too? Which beam would carry heavier weight better?
Hi there! I did speak with customer service on a weight limit for these and they do not have one. Also, this is a review from a previous reader – “I weigh 109 and am standing on it now. No dents at all.”
Hope that helps!
my 100 lb daughter uses the brown one (2 put together) without issue
Has anyone seen reasonably priced bars?
I am looking for some as well.
I ordered the 9ft bean yesterday. My kids doesn’t do gymnastics but my little one has issues with balance. So i asked his therapist and she said it was a great idea to get one for him. 🙂 Thanks for the deal Hip2Save!
You’re very welcome!
Just ordered the 9’ balance beam as a birthday gift for my niece. She is going to love it!! Thanks for the discount!!
How exciting! You’re welcome, Gina! Happy Birthday to your Niece!
We have the 9ft one and I use it to balance and stretch while strengthening the core muscles. For reference, I’m 5 ft 7 and 125 lbs
Does anyone know if the brown 4 ft one is the same sturdiness as the 9 ft. colorful ones? For some reason, the brown one looks “less squishy” to me, but I want a longer one.
I’m so glad this was re-posted I ordered one about a week ago and wanted to grab another and would have forgot if I didn’t just see this… thanks for the last chance post. I love them. 😍
You’re most welcome, Cami! We’re so glad you were able to snag another one.
When does this expire ? I ordered one and it just came I want to try it out tomorrow before I order another
Hi there! This offer expires tonight. Hope that helps!
