Great gift idea for a college student!

For a limited time, head into your local Costco Warehouse where you may spot this Pop & Load Collapsible Laundry Basket for just $12.99!

Note this laundry basket is only available in select warehouses across the country and not online.

This laundry hamper uses 70% less space than a standard laundry basket when collapsed, as it collapses down to just 3″ making it especially great for apartment renters or college students with small spaces! When it is open, it measures 24.5″ x 17.7″ x 10″ so it has a large capacity and is also easy to carry around thanks to its contoured shape!

I have one of these for several months now.. I love the concept however, It does have some flaws.. First when you have it collapsed and open to fill it it does NOT stay opened.. It tries to fold back up when clothes are in it or as you are carrying it! ALSO one of the handles broke within about a month of using it..So more negative then positives I think.. Again.. GREAT concept, if it performed without issues..

I feel the same way. I bought one also and it collapses all the time. When carrying, when filling. I was excited about the idea of a basket taking up less space, but I don’t love the product.

Darn! Sorry to hear it hasn’t worked well for you Paige! We sure appreciate you taking time to share your feedback!

I’m just curious when it would need to be collapsed? I unfortunately always have dirty clothes lol

      LOL! So very true!

I was thinking the same thing. Only good for if you need to store it for some reason.

This concept could work now that I live alone, but I wouldn’t have used this when I was in a dorm. I wanted something that closed or had a lid, so I used a solid drawstring bag. I didn’t want people seeing my dirty laundry. I still don’t.

I bought one of these at TJMAXX about a month ago and I love it! I believe it was about the same price (give it take a dollar). I have a very small house and I’m always looking for space saving items. This is one of the smartest inventions ever.

Sweet! Happy to hear it’s worked for you Jen!

Returned it. It’s flimsy. Doesn’t hold up well. Keeps collapsing and too bulky.

  6. Judy Trac

    I returned this
