Does Sams Club ever offer deals to renew membership? Mine is up shortly and I’m debating whether to renew or not.
They do sometimes. I renewed mine in December and got a $20 gift card. The offer was in my Sam’s Club app. Not sure if they’re running that offer now though.
I get $10 off renewal with a Discover card. It helps!
How long after you purchase does it have to be redeemed? The membership under my husband’s name expires in May. Was hoping to wait and sign up under my name.
Membership must be activated by April 30, 2019. It’s in the fine print. Probably with it to have a month overlap
Hi Jeanna. The offer does state that this is for new Sam’s Club Members only and is not valid for membership renewals, for those with a current membership…UNLESS you were a Sam’s Club member less than 6 months PRIOR to February 1, 2019. I hope this helps.

So to get around the new membership part what we do is alternate hi the primary card is under. At first it’ll be me then when that expires, the next round goes under hubby. That way we are able to take advantage of these promos.
Do either of these memberships allow you to come in early? We have a business membership and I usually stop in between 7:30 and 8. They never ask to see my card and I use self checkout. I think we pay $45 a year for that.
No, you have to have the $100 membership to come in early. $45 Business membership does not give you that privilege anymore.
