I was at Walmart the other evening to get a bike for my son’s birthday. He’s had his eye on certain one for quite awhile. I could hardly believe it when it rang up for $25 instead of $85!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! That’s awesome, Beth! Thanks for letting us know the price you scored!

  2. Mbrown

Yes they are clearing out fast though! We got one for 25!
Some aren’t priced correctly so make sure you scan it. Never hurts to double check. The one we got said 85 but rang up 25

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks for the helpful tip!

I am looking for a 14″ inch bike for my son bday. Any idea if this size bike is also on clearance?

  4. Krissy

I would just make sure you check the bike over well before purchase. I purchased a bike for my daughter on clearance on a whim but upon further inspection at home discovered peeling stickers, rust around bolts, and 2 different colored hand brakes. We were also told we could return it if I found something wrong with it. Upon return I was told they usually don’t return clearance bikes and they can sell bikes that have been sitting in front of the store on display or have been returned by purchaser. I should have checked more closely, I hadn’t had my complete coffee intake for the day I suppose, LOL! One of the managers at our store made it right and my daughter has a new bike we are both happy with!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Thanks so much for the warning, Krissy! SO glad a manager could help!

Anyone seen any deals on balance bikes? I’d love to grab one for my daughter

    • Lara

Get a regular toddler bike and take the pedals off…balance bike! Then when they’re ready for the pedals, you don’t have to buy a new bike. That’s what we did for both of my daughters and it worked like a charm.

Where were you 5 years ago?? Obviously I was sleep deprived 🤣
        That’s a great idea!

We camp in the summer. Our girls have have outgrown their bikes and I’ve been dreading telling them that we wouldn’t be able to get them new bikes this summer. We have had some hard knocks finally and had to budget! I just got back from Wal Mart and they both have new bikes for 50.00! I’m thrilled! Thank you so much for sharing this awesome deal! This is better than Christmas because it is unexpected!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Woohoo! That’s SO awesome! You’re very welcome! Super glad you could grab them each a bike on the cheap!

THANK YOU for posting this deal on bikes ! I am just recovering from a 3 month long bout of bronchitis. It really knocked me flat, so now I need to work on regaining my aerobic endurance. At 64 yrs of age, jogging is not the answer … arthritis! But I ‘ve always enjoyed a great bike ride !. ALSO, it was very beneficial to utilize the link to BRICKSEEK, which tries to check available inventory of item, AND which store LOCATION. It noted that the WalMart near me had “limited stock”, which means quite possibly there may not be any. BUT, the WalMart 20 miles away listed 6 available. NOW .. I considered heading out immediately last night to claim this deal, but it was late and very dark. So, I headed out this morning. As I was walking around the huge bike rack in the store, trying to spot which bike was on sale, a shopper came up to me and pointed out the bike, saying that she just bought it for $30. Looks like it was the only one left. SHAZAM. Thank you, Collin. I’m sure I entertained half the people in the parking lot, as I attempted to fit the bike into my SUV by myself, while my nosy co-pilot pit bull was checking it out and blocking my efforts. Tomorrow I hit the road to improved health.

Sorry to hear you’ve had bronchitis Bonnie! I’m so glad you were able to use Brickseek to find a store near you with stock, and how nice of the other customer to point out the bike! 🙂 Hope you’re feeling 100% very soon!
