Does anyone know if these are safe during pregnancy?
Thanks for all the awesome deals hip2save!!!
Be careful with glycolic acid, if you’ve not used to before. It can mess up your skin if not used properly and eased into it slowly. I learned my lesson already with these..
I’d ask the OBGYN that question.
That being said, I’ve been using Paula’s Choice 8% AHA Gel for years and highly recommend it over this product. As w/ any new product (esp. an active, like AHA) always patch test a few times first, build up to using it more frequently over time (start w/ 1x a week, then 2x a week if your skin can handle it), and you must use a proper sunscreen religiously when using an AHA. Otherwise, no need to be scared to use acids for chemical exfoliation, as long as you give your skin time to adapt and protect it from the sun!
Has anyone tried these before? Thanks!
I use these a lot and love them. They are quite gentle, but effective, but you do need to be a little religious in using them consistently to see results.
The pads are quite large and quite wet with product. Each is individually wrapped. My tip is to open the packet and cut the pad in half. Put the other half back in the packet and seal it shut with a paper clip. This way a box will last twice as long!
Thanks so much for the helpful feedback and tips! Good to know!
Thanks Sara! 😊
If you are looking to buy a larger quantity, the 30ct is also available on Amazon for $22. Just a little cheaper than Target, even after Red card discount.
Thanks, Krystle!
My local Target had this for a higher price ($24.99) reduced to $14.99. They matched the $11.99 on their website.
I’ve been wanting to try it, Thanks!
Oh cool! You’re very welcome!
