I’ve been thinking about getting something like this as I have 2 cats. Thanks!
This thing is the best!! Hubby usually complains when I buy “unneccessary” stuff but he agreed that this is a must!!
Does anyone know why it’s not applying the cartwheel offer to my basket?
Sorry about that! Looks like this particular Cartwheel offer is valid in-store only. I have updated the post.
Thanks 🙂
Does this price include the bags or are those a seprate purchase?
Hi there! This is for the pail. It looks to include a refill. The Cartwheel offer will apply to additional refills as well if you wanted to stock up on more. Hope that helps!
Love this product. I have 2 cats and clean their box twice a day. Poop bag goes in the trash each Saturday. The refill generally lasts 4 weeks or so.
Oh wow! That’s awesome! Thanks for the review. I have a cat and have been wondering if this might be helpful!
I’ve been using this for years. It’s great. The bag refills are a little pricy so I just buy small office waste can size liners and use those. I spent 10 bucks on a box a year and a half ago and still haven’t went through half of them. And I have 4 cats!
Oh wow! Great tip, Matt! Thanks for sharing!
I have 2 cats and I love this thing. But I got tired of buying the refills – they’re pricey but they do last awhile. So now I use plain ‘ole plastic bags from Walmart. Between the clumping litter we have (that is supposed to control smell) and keeping the poop hidden away in the litter genie, I found zero difference between the Litter Genie refills and the free plastic bags from Walmart. But either way, I definitely recommend this thing.
Good to know the Walmart bags have worked well too! Thanks for the helpful feedback!
I agree – love my Litter Genie!
This is an absolute must for cat owners. It is so easy to use and cuts down on the cat potty smell. I tried using plastic bags at one point to see how they compared to the refills, but they really don’t help cut out the smell. I have looked on eBay and found lower price refills that fit the genie and bought those too. If you think the refills are expensive, my tip is to check out eBay for sales and best offers.
Oh cool! Great tip! Thanks for taking a moment to comment!
Yeah, this thing is great. I love mine. I also use trash bags instead of their expen$ive refills.
As mentioned above, the refills are a little pricey but I’ve been using the generic ones from Amazon and they work just as well. As a household with four cats we go thru a lot so I’m going to try the small trash bag idea and see if that works for us. Thanks for sharing.
I am getting very annoyed by Target in my area. They don’t accept any home-printed-out coupons. The workers told me that they couldn’t reimburse some coupons that they collected from their customers. I called their corporation to make sure it is true. The representative told me that is true. I am done with Target.
Oh bummer! SO sorry to hear about that. The two Targets near me still accept printable coupons. Is there another Target store in your area that you could shop at? Hoping that helps!
