I just checked the price for a 10-day park hopper ticket at WDW starting on 9/19/19. It says the gate price is $541.64 + tax $33.91 = $575.55. That tax comes out to 6.26%. Sales tax in Lake Buena Vista is 6.5%. If they were applying the correct tax, the fake gate price would be $575.55 + $35.21 = $576.85. The actual price at the gate is $550.38 + $35.78 = $586.16. Math says the tax should be $35.77, but WDW almost always charges an extra cent or two on everything. The Sam’s Club price is $476.97 + $41.00 = $517.97. Sam’s Club is charging 8.595% sales tax. The Sam’s Club price should be $507.97.
I don’t care that the tickets are cheaper. I won’t buy something from anyone if they are going to charge more tax than they are allowed to by law.
A $952.11 annual pass is still a better deal for me than buying a 10-day park hopper ticket two years in a row from Sam’s Club($476.06 per year AP vs. $517.97 Sam’s Club).
*$541.55 + $35.21 = $575.85

Hey there…I live in Plant City, Fl. I am right between Orlando and Tampa. My county pays tax of 8.5%. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but that is what we pay in tax by law.
Florida’s state sales tax is 6%. Plant City is in Hillsborough County which has a 2.5% sales tax. Lake Buena Vista is in Orange County which has a 0.5% sales tax. Sales tax is 6.5% regardless of where you buy the tickets.
After you go a little deeper in the check out the tax reduces .. cake out to 505. ?? Per ticket for me
At $505.??, it either lowered the price of the ticket or isn’t charging you enough tax. The Sam’s Club price should be $507.97 for the dates I picked. As a side note, Undercover Tourist came to $507.16 for these dates.
I’ll continue to stick with a new annual pass every two years. It is cheaper than a 10-day park hopper ticket for two once-a-year trips. It includes Memory Maker, and it has dining, merchandise, special event, tour, and room discounts. I don’t need it, but it also comes with free standard parking at the parks.

1 day park-to-park adult $180, child $175.
Universal has been offering buy 2 days get 3 free. So 5 days for the price of 2. On their website

Depending on the day, $292-327 for an adult 3 day “1 park per day” Disney World ticket in April. Kid ticket $280-$315 in April.
Not a big savings here. This price range is about the same as numerous other sites.

Remember you cannot add any offer like free dining when you purchase tickets separately. And you really are not saving enough unless you buy a 10 day pass. Best way to save money is to use a good travel planner that specializes in Disney Travel. They will watch for the best deals for you.
This used to be the case but you can now do this! I purchased my tickets from Undercover Tourist and then booked a room only reservation and then Disney added the Dining Plan for me. You cannot do this online, you have to call. But it was an awesome savings for us this year. I’d highly recommend checking it out!
If you’re a FL resident the best deal is the Annual silver pass. All 4 parks and free parking- $479!
We are heading to FL in April and I’ve been looking for a good deal on 1 day passes. Looks like this is a decent deal at $129 for the flexible day (so we can decide last min what day we want to go depending on the weather).
Does anyone know if the Fast Pass is included in a 1 day flexible ticket? Also, does anyone know how the fast pass works when you don’t have Magic Bands?
All tickets have fast pass. Without bands you use the app.
Without the band you use the card at the ride. You can use the app to choose or modify fastpasses regardless of what you use at the ride. You can also use a computer or the kiosks throughout each park to choose or modify fastpasses.

A one day ticket to Disneyland California is $149. Sam’s says it is $224 and they are selling it for $149. I can get it straight from Disney for $149. No savings at all!

Be careful when buying park tickets. Disney instituted new rates based on the dates you want to enter the parks. Please make sure you’re buying tickets that will be valid on the dates you’re going there. For instance, the most expensive daily rate is for holidays like Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter, and less expensive during the quieter times of year. Also, some of the annual passes have blackout dates. My husband and I had to buy the platinum annual pass to avoid the blackout dates because we’re going for Christmas next year.
I just spent almost a week (during school days 🙂 ) planning a surprise family trip to WDW…in case it helps anyone else – this is what I found – WDW is having a pretty awesome sale (“fun in the sun” offer) if you book in the next 5 days. I priced out every combo I could find for a family of 5 for about a week – even on non-official websites. I found there wasn’t a (“worth-it”) per-day ticket price break unless the 5 of us went to the parks for atleast 5 days when all the other trip costs were included. I was looking to go to each park (e.g. 4 tickets x 5 people) – but alot cheaper to just go for 3 days. Tickets had different prices for EVERY day/combination. I was open to staying out of the resorts if nearby with transportation options. Found that it could be actually cheaper to stay inside the park because of the transportation cost differences! (I was surprised!) Lastly, it hugely depended on airline costs for us, too. I was able to find $200 round trip (all taxes included!) options from Spirit airlines that included 3 checked bags. I was able to find dates that were included in Disney website sale that matched up with the non-stop $200 airline tickets (Minneapolis to Orlando). I was finally all set to book a cabin in the Wilderness resort, but did one last check at Costco.com. It turned out that for the same price we were able to upgrade to a deluxe hotel (Disney has 3 levels: $”value”, $$”moderate”, or $$$”deluxe”) for the same price as the cabin (which is almost always excluded from sales)! With 5 of us, we were limited to “Suites” in the less expensive options – no longer less expensive 🙂 The cabin would have been roomier with a kitchen, but was an hour+ bus ride to the parks – the Boardwalk Inn hotel is centrally located with boardwalk entertainment, lots of food options (restaurants with free character visits), and a great pool/waterslide for our extra day. It was always less in the end to price (anywhere I checked!) hotel with tickets. So really it only matters what the actual “TOTAL” will be to compare. I think it was itemized as about $85/ticket, a little over $300/night for the hotel (this includes taxes). It included magic bands/fast pass tickets (for use any day during our 5 days), airport transportation, ***and both the cabin and the hotel allows grocery delivery! SO much work to make sure you aren’t overpaying because of the endless amount of combinations that really can change the price! Hope it ends up worth it 🙂 I have also decided to pay an extra $160 for the memory maker add-on so all of the ride photos and any taken by professionals stationed throughout the parks are all available electronically at no further cost (I’m rarely in any family photos and would LOVE to not be the trip photographer for once 🙂 )
