Honestly as a parent I never give my children candy that isn’t in the original sealed package. If we get loose candy that was repackaged like you’re suggesting, it goes straight into the garbage. We actually had neighbors do this with candy corn for Halloween and a child in my sons class gave bags of loose m&m’s for Valentine’s Day 🤦🏼♀️
What a paranoid response to someone who simply mentioned his niece was having a birthday. She’s turning one – I doubt there’s going to be a lot of kids there that won’t be family or close friends; she doesn’t have schoolmates yet. Nevermind that kids regularly are invited to parties where they eat food that is not commercially prepared – I’m not sure I understand why party favors should get additional scrutiny 😂
