  1. duh

Whats the diff between aple watch and the aple watch nike+? Thanks

    • alienna21

The band with the sporty holes in it and a couple exclusive Nike apps and watch “faces”. Nike one has everything else the regular one has.

    • Mayra

I think it’s because one is nike sport band and the other sport band.

  2. Mayra

I need to know which of the two is better. because I see that one has to walkie talkie, text message and calls. The other does not say anything about that.

    • Hailee

They both have text message and calls. Not sure about walkie

    • Jamie

I have the NON Nike series 3 and it has the walkie talkie feature 🙂

  3. Sara

    Gah! I’m so tempted!!!

I have the Nike 3 version and the wife has the original 3…. not much diff other than the bands….which you can get on wish for like 3 bucks shipped now…..to me not worth the extra to get Nike unless you are doing specialized training through the Nike app. Which I have never used and I didn’t really care for the Nike band. Also the diff is the knob on the side…..the Nike one has a red dot on the side of it. Like the face of the knob. I actually don’t like it as I bought some pretty dressy bands for mine when I wear suits and such and the red dot makes it look too sporty for the nice metal bands. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • duh

But the nike and regular ones are same price now per posting? Ty though

    • Garfield

The red dot indicates that it can get a SIM card and handle data on its own. The Non Nike watches have it too. The plan on T-Mobile is $10 per month (if I am not mistaken) and then your watch is not dependent on your phone’s data. You are not required to sign up for data though.

  5. Olivia

No, the red dot isn’t because it’s a Nike Watch. The red dot is because it has cellular capability. You can get either model to have cellular capability- it costs around $100 more. This is so you can leave your phone at home and still make/receive calls from your watch. It also costs $10 more per month added to your cell phone bill, FYI. But is great if you are a runner and don’t want to carry your phone, or if you habitually leave the house and forget your cell phone. 😂

Is it pointless to get an Apple Watch if you aren’t going to pay for cellular service? Do most things still work on it? I’m a little confused on it. We have unlimited data so would I be able to connect the watch to that? Thanks in advance for any help.

    • Garfield

No, the phone gets all the data from your phone through Bluetooth. You can get phone calls, messages. However your phone has to be around to work. I am personally not a fan of the voice calls but the texting feature is great. They have pre-typed responses that changed based on the text you received. Most of the time they are quite useful. You can also dictate and you can draw the letters one by one for a customs response (which is a pain).

      • Teran

        Awesome, thank you

    • Carina

So unless you really never take your phone with you and leave it at home a lot then you would want cellular. We pay 10 each month and paid an activation fee also. My husbands works outside doing restoration and he hates taking his phone with him so he has cellular which has the red dot on the watch. I on the other hand do not have cellular and I have walkie talkie, text, calls and everything the cellular watch has. I really do not know anyone that does not constantly have their phone with them so I really don’t think that extra money to pay is worth it.

I’m just wanting to know if this is the best price. Or should I wait till the 5 comes out and the 4 will be cheaper? What do y’all think?

    • Tina

      Is that soon???

      • Jill

The series 5 will be released in September

I belong to apple community. People are having problems with batteries exploding in the 3 watches. They are resting and the face plates are cracking. They purchase apple care and they are not horroning the warranty’s. Apple is saying it must be from abuse. Haven’t heard anything from 4 watch yet.
